Why we may not be able to help as much in this period. 💔💔
Thank you. x
Trigger Warning: Baby Loss 🍼
I have debated sharing this news publicly, but after many years together (some of you have been following us for over a decade already), we think of many of you as a second family and the person of whom I will speak of is such a big member of our animal-loving and compassionate community. 🩷
In about 2011 my sister Natalie Stones joined me in my quest to save and rescue animals in the Emirates. She has done admin, site feedings, trappings, TNRs, home checks, free dog training for our rescues, thousands of hours of driving animals everywhere, spent an unimaginable amount on vet bills and petrol and credit (back when we used to have to buy credit for our phones- she’d buy mine too!), has driven round with dog p**p, p*e, vomit, ticks in her car, spent hours of her life in vets and boarding venues, spent years getting to know many of our fosters and adopters, etc etc. You can imagine. She’s done it all. She’s been a hero to so many but seldom mentioned as she has always just got on with it and isn’t so public a person.
Exactly one week ago a nightmare was set upon us, but especially on Natalie and her husband. Their 5-week old baby boy, a twin, had passed away in his sleep. 💔 This is a tragedy no parent should ever have to feel. It has left Natalie and her family forever broken. 💔 In disbelief. Hurting.
Our little William, brother to twin Victoria and Alexander, the little boy we were sure would grow up to be an animal warrior just like his mummy, now sleeps in heaven. Not only will he be greeted by the angels and by our relatives who sadly have passed too… as well as our old cats and dogs, but by the hundreds, if not thousands, of animals we were involved in who have since passed. We’d like to think they’d do this for Natalie and little William. 🐶🪽🐱🪽

For those that know Natalie, or even if you don’t, please feel free to leave her a comforting message below or via WhatsApp if you already have her number. 💌 Or if you’d like to reach out to us via PM, we will make sure to pass your message across. She’s too broken to respond to anyone but will surely be pleased to receive them. 💌💌💌
With much love in this difficult time. And please hug your 2-legged and 4-legged children for a little longer today. 🩷🩷🩷
