Blaze ran out of the property and has not been seen since. His family has been searching everywhere and is desperately hoping for his safe return.

Please help us bring this little girl called Leela home safely. She went missing in **Silverfields Park, Krugersdorp**, on the 30th of May and her family is desperately searching for her.

She is a small Jack Russell female dog and may be frightened and confused. If you have seen her, or have any information about her whereabouts, please contact us immediately.

🐾 We Are the Voice for the Voiceless 🐾

Today we returned to the field where Lily and Shadow were found.

What we discovered was heartbreaking.
A total of 41 snares were removed from the area. One of them had already claimed another victim — a meerkat trapped in the cruel wire. We also discovered the skeleton of a cat, white and ginger in colour, a tragic reminder that these snares do not only target wildlife but also beloved pets.

This is not just a wildlife problem. It is a community problem.
We refuse to stand by and do nothing.
From now on, we will return to the area every second week to search for and remove any new snares we find. We will continue documenting what we discover and reporting these acts of cruelty wherever necessary.

We ask everyone to remain vigilant. If you walk your dogs, allow your cats outdoors, or care about the wildlife that shares our environment, please help us by reporting suspicious activity and checking areas where snares may be hidden.

Our animals cannot speak for themselves.
We are their voice when no one else is there.
For Lily. For Shadow. For every animal that has suffered silently.

💔 Update on Lily & Shadow 💔

We would like to thank everyone who helped search for Lily and Shadow and shared our posts.

Sadly, both Lily and Shadow were found deceased in the field next to RHS. They had become trapped in snares and were strangled. An animal cruelty complaint has been reported, and a cruelty case has been opened with the Randwest SPCA.

Our hearts are incredibly heavy. What we witnessed at the scene is something we cannot adequately describe. No animal should ever have to suffer such a cruel and heartbreaking fate.

To their owners, we are deeply sorry for your loss. Lily and Shadow did not deserve to die this way. They were loved, and they will not be forgotten.

We sincerely hope that whoever is responsible is held accountable, and we urge anyone with information regarding snares or suspicious activity in the area to come forward.

LOOKING FOR THEIR FOREVER HOMES

These beautiful teenagers were born into a world filled with uncertainty. Their journey began in a cold, open field, with only their mommy by their side. No warm bed, no loving family, and no proper food — just a mother doing everything she could to keep her babies safe.

Late one night, the team at Cast Aways Animal Sanctuary stepped in and rescued these precious souls. Since then, they have received the love, care, safety, and attention they deserve. They have grown into stunning, healthy teenagers with so much love to give.
