😻 SUCCESSFUL ADOPTION 😻

My absolutely gorgeous fluffy 🍊 foster boytjie has gone to his fur-ever loving home 🏡

This little sweetheart came with his equally lovely black brother from a farm just outside Parys.

These 2 boys are just delightful - Big softies, who loved each other, accepted all the other kittens & loved to be with their humans receiving cuddles 😻😻

They played up a storm and the orange 🍊 boytjie was a comical little thing 😺. He ‘tested’ the adult cats patience 😹 and let you know very loudly when it was time for his extra lean raw mince 😋

2 weeks ago Lindia adopted a gorgeous little Siamese kitten from me.

As I always do, I suggested having 2 together because pairs makes for a happy, well adjusted kitty, as they never get bored or lonely and keep each other company.

After consideration they decided to only adopt 1 and to give her the best life possible.

However they soon realized that what I had said was true and so she contacted me for a friend for her gorgeous kitty.

And that friend is the beautiful orange 🍊 boytjie Garfield.

Most times it takes a few days for kittens to get used to and accept one another. But not with these 2.
From the moment they were placed together, they played up a storm and lovingly groomed one another. They slept side by side holding each other 😻 which pleases my little ❤️ no end 😁

Thank you to farmers wife Megan - firstly for rescuing them and secondly for entrusting me with caring for them and finding them an excellent home 🙏

Miss not having you around, making me laugh with all your tricks and sleeping in bed with me, but I know that you already have a wonderful life with your caring new family who already love 💗 you so much 😁

😻 SUCCESSFUL ADOPTION 😻

My oh so ‘cutie-pie’ stocky little black beauty foster boytjie has gone to his fur-ever loving home 🏡

When he first came to me, this little man had attitude 😹
He was a cross-patch 😡
Hissing 🐍 and growling at the other kittens🙀
Probably because he was no longer with his mommy & sister which really causes them stress 😿
But that didn’t last long and he soon changed into the loving prince 🤴🏻 he really is 😺
He played and purred at every turn!

A lovely young lady had been following me for ages, waiting for her ‘right’ kitty. You see, growing up she had a stocky black male cat with a little white on his throat and she dreamt of having a boytjie just like that again.

She eventually enquired about the gorgeous fluffy ginger boy (she couldn’t wait any longer to get a kitty) but I knew this was her baby and upon seeing his photo she said ‘no, I’ll take the black one’
Funny how life has a way of working its magic 🪄 as this was the kitty she always wanted 😁
Upon seeing him in person, it was love at first sight 🥰

Thank you 🙏 to your extremely loving, caring and smitten new mommy Charissa and her partner HJ (who it would appear has ‘stolen’ her kitty’s heart 🙀😹) for giving this kitty a wonderful home.

Charissa is home all day op die plaas and so will shower this little man - who I lovingly called ‘Chunky Boy’ - and his name has stuck, with all the love 💗 and affection 🤗 he deserves and craves 😻

Chunky Boy has a big personality! He is vocal and lets Charissa know when he wants her or food 🥘 😹
He will also been harness trained and accompany her on her daily walk to see the cows 🐄 😺👍

😻 SUCCESSFUL ADOPTION 😻

My gorgeous Grey & White foster girly has gone to her fur-ever loving home 🏡

This little sweetheart had a tragic start to life - sadly like so many 😿

She, together with the Tuxedo male were dumped in a cardboard box 📦 at a farmers gate in the Fochville area.

At the time of this cruel abandonment, she was only 6 weeks old and the tiny Tuxedo male only 5 weeks old! 😿

Although they are not blood siblings, they are, because they only had one another to rely on and to seek some sort of comfort from.

2 weeks later that tragic start to this world is a thing of the past 😺

Despite this little girly’s heartless past, she does not harbour resentment 😇

She is such a sweet little kitty 🐱
An angelic girly 👼 with a gentle nature & playful spirit 😺
So chilled, grateful, friendly, a purr-machine and oh so loving 😻

Firstly, Thank you 🙏 to the caring farmer 🧑‍🌾 and his wife Louise 👩🏻 for taking these 2 poor innocent souls in and then for allowing me to take them into my care.

Thank you to your awesome new mommy Marlize and her daughter Limi for giving you little sweetheart an amazing life filled with so much love 💗 affection and care 🤗

Have the best life ever little darling - that you and every other kitty deserves 🥰

His mother is gone, and he was left behind – a newborn, no bigger than my hand, eyes still closed to a world that had already been unfair to him. When I found him, he was cold and barely moving, a tiny life hanging by a thread. I picked him up and promised him one thing: as long as he’s breathing, he won’t be alone.

Night feeds, worry, shaking hands – and a little kitten that refuses to give up. Today he falls asleep in my hands, full of trust his mother never got to see. He shouldn’t have had to suffer like this. None of them should.

That’s why I say it clearly:
please spay and neuter your animals.
It doesn’t take much to prevent a lot of pain.

I couldn’t save his mother.
But I can fight for him – and for all the little lives that deserve a chance.

My super sweet 3 months old black beauty foster boytjie has gone to his fur- ever loving home 🏡

This little boy came together with the 5 smaller siblings that came from a situation (sadly like far too many) where people had not bothered to sterilized and now have around 20 cats and kittens which they cannot afford to feed. Neither are any medicated.

* Most sadly, black cats are the least adopted and the most euthanized 😿
* Older kittens don’t often find homes easily 😿
* Then of course there is also another ridiculous myth 🤦🏻‍♀️ that black cats are bad luck, evil etc. Hard for me to comprehend this notion in this day and age. I mean honesty, it’s like still believing in the tooth 🦷 fairy 🧚‍♀️ and the Tokolosh 😈
* There is also a resistance to having a male cat due to the wrong assumption that they walk around, spray, get into fights etc 😿

Yes they can. It’s natural for any male animal to go after an unsterilized female calling for them and leaving her scent (spraying) to get herself impregnated.
But this only happens because people don’t sterilize.
Once sterilized - early, none of this happens and having hands on experience with thousands of kittens and adult cats over 9 years in rescue & foster, I personally find males to be far more loving and homely 😻

But, thank goodness, there are people in this world that absolutely love 💗 a black cat 🐈‍⬛ and know how loving, friendly, cuddly, chilled & appreciative little purr-machines they are 🤗

Black cats 🐈‍⬛ in my personal opinion, generally also have the nicest personalities 🥰 as this boytjie certainly did! Always snuggling, purring & making ‘biscuits’ Loved to be with his human, to sleep with you and to be around the adult cats 😻

😻 SUCCESSFUL ADOPTION X2 😻

My absolutely gorgeous little brother & sister tabby foster kittens have gone to their fur-ever loving home 🏡 TOGETHER 😺😺

These 2 sweethearts came from an unwanted litter in Klerksdorp.

Both are such a content, happy and relaxed little pair - ‘min gespin’, accepting of all new kittens and humans alike 😺 who play up a storm and run for cuddles😻

At first, only the little boytjie was selected as the adopting family already have another cat and wanted a friend for her.

However just in conversation and explaining that they are siblings and highly bonded, this awesome family of 4 - who have high family values, decided straight away that they could not break up a family 🤗 Besides, you 2 little darlings instantly stole all their hearts😻

Thank you 🙏 to your most loving, caring, gentle, considerate & compassionate new mom Joanie, dad Riaan & children Benjamin & Carli who have kept a little family together 😁

Miss you already sweet babies, but I know you are going to have the best lives ever with your wonderful new family 😁

This little girly is another of the 5 siblings that came from a situation (sadly like far too many) where people had not bothered to sterilized and now have around 20 cats and kittens which they cannot afford to feed. Neither are any medicated.

But fairytales do happen in real life and this little princess found her prince 🤴🏻 and her castle 🏰

Her very gentle, loving & caring new prince is young Lukas. Who immediately knew he wanted this beautiful girly 😻 Just look at the sheer joy & delight on little Lukas’ face 😁

Once they had arrived home and got baby settled, this is a text message I received from Lukas’ mom Lizzy:
“ What a joy! And such a purry little lady! Oh goodness, what a darling. Lukas is in heaven! “ 😍

And I truly believe that this little princess is too!
It’s a match made in heaven 🐈‍⬛ 👦🏻 ❤️

😻 SUCCESSFUL ADOPTION X 2 😻

2 of my sweet little tortoise shell foster girlies have gone to their fur- ever loving home 🏡 TOGETHER 😺😺

These 2 girlies - along with their 3 other sibling, came from a situation (sadly like far too many) where people had not bothered to sterilized and now have around 20 cats and kittens which they cannot afford to feed. Neither are any medicated.

Their equally sweet, gently, loving and caring new mommy Christi had recently suffered the heartache of loosing her precious cat, who she had rescued years ago.

She was naturally grieving and wasn’t sure it the time was right to get a little kitten. She also thought she wanted a kitten that looked the same.

As heart-sore as the loss is, I reminded Christi that from every tragedy comes goodness. That goodness being a space made for a precious little soul in need of a home. It is not about replacing the cat we lost, it is about filling the void in your heart - it is about helping you heal 🤗

Christi looked at the photos and instantly said ‘this sweet little girl immediately got my attention’.
She looked at more photos I sent, and again said ‘this little girl has my heart’.

But, the first photo she selected and then the 2nd photo she sent back were of 2 different kittens - sisters who looked similar - which I pointed out.

Long story short, both girlies stole Christo’s heart ❤️ and both girlies have not only been kept together but gone to a wonderful home where they will be dearly loved and greatly cared for 😻😻

My cup runneth over 😁
