What a day for the Team! 🏆🐴🩷

Some fantastic rounds and results from our riders today:

🥈 Maree Lamont & Sacramento jumped beautifully to finish 2nd.

🥇 Shamaria van Heerden had two amazing clear rounds with Pirate & Blitz, with Pirate taking the WIN! 🏆 A big thank you from Shamaria to Maree for all the help and support. 🤍

🏆 Mia Bellingan & Archer are our A2 70cm winners! 🩷 Such a special result for this pair.

⚡ Eden Jonker & African Royal Jewel absolutely flew around, posting the fastest time, with just one unfortunate pole keeping them out of the top spot.

🎀 Tanit Williams & Font Absolute Jewel, owned by Evan Dorothy, put in another super performance to finish 4th.

So proud of all our riders and horses. Lots of beautiful rounds, happy horses and great results. Well done Team JE! 🩷🐴✨

A little bit about Jade Equestrian 🤍🐴

Based in Port Elizabeth, our yard is home to a lovely mix of competitive and leisure horses and riders, with a big focus on good horse care and a relaxed, friendly environment.

We have two sand arenas, a grass arena, horse walker, spacious paddocks and comfortable stables with rubber matting, automatic drinkers and thick shavings.

Our horses are looked after by a dedicated team of grooms, with professional coaching available for riders who would like it.

We’re also conveniently close to the main showgrounds, which makes show days that little bit easier!

🐴 MEET THE HORSES Massey 🤎

Meet Massey, one of the biggest characters at Jade Equestrian! 🐴✨

Massey has a heart of gold and is loved by absolutely everyone who meets him. He’s kind, gentle, incredibly patient… but don’t let that sweet face fool you! He has perfected the art of convincing little riders that they need to do all the work! 😅

He’s well known for encouraging our younger riders to keep those legs on and ride positively, making him a fantastic teacher while always keeping things fun.

At the end of the day, Massey is one of the most lovable ponies you’ll ever meet. His gentle nature, cheeky personality, and endless patience make him a firm favourite around the yard, and we honestly couldn’t imagine Jade Equestrian without him. ❤️

MEET THE HORSES Ruggens Gino 🤍

Meet Ruggens Gino, the newest addition to the Jade Equestrian family! ✨

Although he’s only recently joined us, Gino has settled into his new home incredibly well. With his calm nature and willingness to learn, he’s already becoming a much-loved member of the yard.

Gino is a naturally competitive horse who loves having a job to do. He’s quick to learn, eager to please, and is already showing plenty of promise for the future. We can’t wait to see what he and his riders will achieve together.

With his striking grey coat and kind eye, Gino is impossible to miss but it’s his attitude and work ethic that really make him stand out.

Here’s to the start of an exciting journey together! 🤍
