Building balance, body awareness, coordination, confidence.

Motor planning, planning/executive function, being able to prepare an action then carry it out.

Better knowledge of right and left, cross body movement, independence and coordination of upper and lower body, flexibility and muscle development, and if you’re in a dressage ring and/or give thinking exercises for homework, it can improve spelling and memory, and add to science lessons.

Emotional regulation, self-calming, empathy, co-operation, self-responsibility and responsibility for another.
