Nice double today for the yard.

First up was the consistent filly Kim Kay, the 4yr old by Futura -Keara (ARG) by Orpen (USA), she stepped up to the mile today and rewarded owner Mr P Murugasa with a facile win.

Prince Florian was up next to make amends for his forcible rest by winning the 1400m Classified Stakes for our Stalwart owner Mr Crabbia and Emma Joanne Rorke

Both horses and all our runners were ridden to perfection by stable jock Wayne Agrella Racing Wayne Agrella .

Wow!
For an extremely small stable, to have two of our very precious and well performed and loving horses being nominated for an award at the 2026 East Cape Awards on the 5th September 2026, is an absaloute honour.

First up, Buffalo Bill is a nominee for Champion 3yr old colt/gelding, with Epikleros being a nominee for Champion Older Filly/Mare.

Another fairy tale story for Mauritian owner Mr L J Raymond..
Hoodwinked, the 5yr old by Canford Cliffs (IRE) - King's Tempress by King Of Kings (IRE).
Having only his THIRD start in the Eastern Cape after a 2yr lay off , he got it right today on a surface that is not actually suited to him!
Winning by a margin under X Ndlovu.
Well done Mr Raymond 🇲🇺

Royal Dawn the 4yr gelding by Royal Mo (USA) - September Bloom by Gitano Hernando (GB) stamped his authority today over the 1200m on the poly, on the first time of asking in the Eastern Cape.
I have to commend Mr Anauth for his patience and trust, after Royal Dawn had a forced 5 months break off the track..
Patience was duly awarded today.
Good ride by MK Katjedi.
A great run by stable companion the 3yr old Filly Tipsy (taking on the boys) to run 2nd .
