1. Individual Compatibility – A horse might be perfect for someone else but not necessarily the right match for you, your riding style, or your goals. What works for one rider may not work for another.

2. Health & Condition – Horses can have subtle health issues, lameness, or behavioral quirks that are difficult to spot in photos or videos. A veterinary examination (vetting) ensures you know exactly what you’re buying.

3. Accurate Assessment – In-person viewings allow you to evaluate temperament, movement, and suitability firsthand. Videos and pictures often don’t capture the full picture.

4. Peace of Mind – Seeing and handling the horse yourself, ideally with a trusted vet present, reduces the risk of unpleasant surprises and ensures you’re making an informed decision.
