When you look at our Meal Plan you will see we have interspersed the Complete Minced meals with various “bony meals” like heads, necks, kneecaps etc, which is fantastic stimulation for dogs, together with other health benefits - chewing bones (the correct ones) releases endorphins in dogs, which in turn relaxes them, as well as cleans their teeth - surely you'll agree this is a great bonus. Never ever feed your dogs any weight bearing bones from a butcher or any cooked bones. Dogs were not meant to digest these and their digestive system cannot cope. Our top grade premium quality nutrition is manufactured with passion, love and dedication by Retha and her team and is tested by our ever-so-critical-beagle-connoisseurs (10 of them... yes we have 10 of them and do not forget about Havoc the wanna-beagle) to ensure only the best - your dogs would be eating exactly the same food as our 11. Is Rice Really Good for Dogs? Let’s Break It Down!

A lot of people add rice to their dog’s meals because it shows up in kibble or they’ve always heard it’s “healthy.” But here’s the truth:

🐾 Little Nutritional Value ➡️ Rice is mostly just carbs. If your dog already eats a high-carb diet, adding more doesn’t help.
🐾 Why Kibble Brands Use It ➡️ It’s cheap, easy to digest, helps bind kibble together, and makes labels sound more “premium.”
🐾 Arsenic Concerns ➡️ Studies show dogs eating rice-heavy diets can have higher arsenic levels.
