Gary Burgess joined HPA in October 2013 after a career in establishing large scale commercial aquaponics. We design for and offer support, training and mentorship to clients who have interest in personal, home-use systems or large-scale modular commercial aquaponic operations. HP Aquaponics have designed our systems, training courses, mentorship programmes and the general running of our business with the specific aim of limiting the barriers to entry and maximise return for clients, whether it be food security or economic success. Our models for larger scale commercial oparations employ a modular approach which enables you to grow and build on success.

Vermipost going in on organic earth production beds. That's how we keep the soils regenerative. vermipost is black gold. It is both high value organic nutrient and it is full of living biology that facilitates the Rhizophagy Cycle.
NEVER put chemical fertilizers into your soils.
And after applying vermipost, always put a leaf or grass mulch over the top.

Harvesting gooseberries can be quite frustrating because the ripe ones tend to hide in the thicket and so we follow this routine daily to harvest our bounty and then we make the most delicious Cape gooseberry preserve.
