🚨CHLOE NEEDS A HOME 😢

Chloe is a delightful young girl, looking for a home after being found as a stray and never claimed.
As you can see in the pics, this poor little girl has already had a number of litters... 😔

We believe she is under 2 years old.
She isn't very big - maybe a little bigger than a staffie so can easily fit onto any couch or bed with you 😉🥰

• Energetic, friendly and alert
• Great with humans - no toddlers as she is a strong little meat box who may bash said toddlers over by mistake🤭
• Seems to enjoy the company of other medium to large socialised boy dogs but would also be fine as an only dog provided someone is at home most of the time.
• No cats 🙀

Chloe would thrive in an active home.
She would make a great running/hiking partner so if you're into that sort of thing, Chloe would gladly join you.
She loves attention so being part of a family would literally make her the happiest dog in the world 🌎 💓

We cannot change her past but we can say that Chloe's future is set to be happier and brighter.

Meet Tipsy! 🐶🥂

Tipsy is one of our 4 doggos we got in a couple weeks ago as their owners home was being invaded by the Zama Zama's. 💔

Tipsy is around 4 years old and is a labby x. 🐶 She has the typical labby characteristics - happy, sweet, gentle, amazing with kids and of course other doggies. ❤️

Tipsy is one of the happiest dogs at our shelter, despite being left confused as to why she no longer has a home. She is truly a gem! 🐶🥰

Tipsy would love to find a family who will give her the same love in return that she has to offer. 🫶

‼️ Hope’s home has fallen through! 💔

We were contacted by a family who was desperate for Hope. They saw her post and wanted her asap. Application done, we drove all the way to their house with Hope for a meet and greet and home check. Approved. All we needed now was BC approval. BUT - GHOSTED!!!!

Poor Hope was so close to a home and then let down.

The most amazing pittbull you'll ever meet! 😊 Hope is part of the 4 doggies we posted a couple weeks ago who lost their homes due to the Zama Zamas. She is a doggie we've been looking after for the past couple of years. We've helped sterilize her and her pack, we feed them and have provided kennels and beds previously. ❤️

At no fault of her own, she is now in need of a new home. 🐾 Hope is around 3 years old and has been well exposed to other doggies. She has the most amazing nature and will do well with other bigger dogs as she is full of fun and boisterous! 😊 Hope is most certainly not your "typical" pitty type and would love a chance to be in a home. A shelter is no place for such a gorgeous girl! 🥰

Please help us share Hope far and wide. ❤️

Starting young! 😎

A real Bokke supporter longing for his forever home. Imagine spending game day tomorrow on the couch getting fed biltong while SA kicks butt?? 😄

That is Spots dream! 😎

Meet Spot - a handsome 12 week old boy and officially the last of our Dullstroom pups waiting for his chance of a home. ❤️

Spot has been in foster care for the last couple of weeks and he’s absolutely flourished. He loves other dogs but treats even more so. 😉 So imagine how nice biltong will be! 🤤

Spot is a true social butterfly! He has been well exposed to other dogs of all age and size. Spot is also both crate and house trained - BONUS! 😁

Now all he needs is a forever home. 🏡

Spot is believed to be a fox terrier x, estimated to be medium in size fully grown. 🐶

Will education solve this????

On outreach yesterday we were asked to come and look at a house where there were a few sick dogs.

The very elderly gentleman of the house has 4 dogs of which 3 are not well at all. But what was more concerning is the fact that he locks up the one dog in what I can only describe as a bird cage because he fights with the other dogs.

After explaining nicely to him that the dog cannot live in a bird cage, we took the dog out, and he promptly put the other dog into the cage. 🤦🏼‍♀️

We have taken 3 of the dogs for treatment and to be rehomed and left him with the one dog who is already sterilised.

We broke down the bird cage so it could not be used ever again and will help him build a little fenced off area for his remaining dog, within his garden

We explained that he can only realistically look after one dog and we will be keeping a close eye on this house. We will be helping him with food for his dog and will drop and kennel and blankets today.

Meet Harvest, a 9 week old angel ready to steal hearts! 😄

Harvest is one of 11 in her litter. She was found in Diepsloot with her mom and siblings living under a piece of tin as shelter. Thankfully we’ve had them since just days old so all she’s known is a soft landing. ❤️

Harvest is now home ready and would love a beautiful home! Mom is a mastiff type so she’ll be on the medium - large side in size fully grown. 🐶

This is Poppy! 🐶

A gorgeous Africanis girl that’s been waiting way too long for a home to call her own. 😢

Poppy is one of Katie’s pups who is still in our care. She has an absolute heart of gold and is just the most perfect doggo! If Poppy is anything like her mom (which she already is) then her family will be one lucky family! 😁

Poppy has watched most of her litter head off to their homes already and we are really hoping this is Poppy’s time. She is not having the best time at the shelter. 😢

The Africanis breed is known for their loyalty, agility and great health. Also the PERFECT family doggos. 🐶
