It’s crunch time… 💔

Coco’s family will be emigrating soon, and we are desperately trying to find her a loving new home before she has to return to the shelter. 😢

Meet Coco — a petite, beautiful young lady with so much love to give. 🐶❤️

At just 6 months old, Coco is still very much a puppy and is full of life, fun and endless enthusiasm! She loves zoomies in the garden, playing with her doggy friends and spending time with her people. 🥰

Coco gets along wonderfully with other dogs and absolutely adores children. Like any youngster, she can sometimes get a little carried away with excitement, but what makes Coco extra special is how eager she is to learn.

This clever girl listens beautifully and is incredibly smart. In fact, she mastered “sit” in less than a day! ✨ She is the perfect age for a family who would love to continue her training and watch her grow into an amazing companion.

Coco is expected to be small to medium-sized when fully grown, making her a fantastic fit for many homes. 🏡

All she needs now is a family willing to give her the love, guidance and forever commitment she deserves. ❤️

Is this not just the cutest little pocket rocket you’ve ever seen ?! 🥰🚀

Meet Diesel — our 9-week-old sweetheart who is ready to steal hearts and couches ! ❤️🐶

Diesel is part of our awesome Rescue Cocktail Litter, which means we have absolutely no idea what breed he is. 😂 One thing we do know ? He’s the perfect mix of fun, love, cuddles and mischief!

This little guy recently moved into foster care, where he is absolutely thriving. He’s learning all about house manners, working hard on his potty training and proving himself to be a very clever boy. ✨

Diesel is confident, playful and always ready for an adventure, but when the excitement is over, he’s more than happy to curl up for a snuggle. 🥹❤️

He also doubles as a WiFi extender thanks to his impressive bunny ears ! 🐰📡 We suspect they pick up signals from neighbouring suburbs too. 😂

Diesel is estimated to be medium-sized when fully grown and would love a family committed to raising a happy, well-adjusted pup.

These four adorable little boys are our Cheese Litter — and it’s easy to see why they’re everyone’s favourite ! 🤩

Sweet, fluffy, cuddly, and overflowing with love, these boys are guaranteed to melt hearts wherever they go. 🥰

They’ll be home-ready next weekend, and we’d love nothing more than to have their forever families waiting for them ! 🏡❤️

As with all rescue puppies, their breed mix is a bit of a mystery, but judging by all that fluff, we suspect there may even be a little Labrador mixed into the recipe. 😍 A true rescue cocktail and 100% adorable !

Sweet little Eddie has been let down.

A situation we sadly find ourselves — and our dogs — facing far too often these days. 😔

We recently received what seemed like a wonderful application for Eddie. The family was excited, eager, and ready to move forward, so we marked him as pending adoption while we arranged a home check.

And then… nothing.

Ghosted. 💔

We completely understand that circumstances can change, but a simple message goes a long way. While it may seem insignificant, every time a puppy is placed on hold, potential adopters move on and valuable opportunities are lost.

So here we are again, hoping that the right family sees this post. ❤️

Meet Eddie — a 9-week-old Jack Russell x boy who has been hand-raised since he was only a few days old. 🍼🐾

Despite his rough start, Eddie is everything a puppy should be: playful, social, affectionate, and always ready for an adventure. He loves people, enjoys cuddles, and would be happiest curled up on the couch with a family of his very own. 🥰

Estimated to be small to medium-sized when fully grown, Eddie is looking for a lifelong commitment and a family who will love him through every stage of his life.

Pongo is Ready to Smile His Way Into Your Heart ! ❤️🐶

Just look at that face ! 😍

Is this not the most beautiful smile you’ve ever seen ? We certainly think so! And behind that gorgeous grin is a dog with an even more beautiful personality.

Pongo is around 3 years old and is believed to have some Staffy in his mix. He is incredibly loyal, gentle, affectionate, and loves being around people. Despite everything life has thrown at him, he still wakes up each day with a smile on his face and hope in his heart. ❤️

This handsome boy is longing for a family of his own—a place where he can finally belong, be loved, and spend the rest of his days knowing he is safe and cherished.

What do you do when you have an extremely scared dog that just won’t go into a kennel….you give him his very own tent of course!!

Hobo (now named Bo) was surrendered to us a few weeks ago and he was understandably scared and nervous at the shelter. We kept him in one of our inside runs for a few weeks as we noticed he didn’t like or know a kennel but as time went on, we decided he needed a bigger space so he went into a bigger run but still refused to use his kennel.

Complete panic set in because here at Dogs Trust, every dog WILL be warm and they will be snug and comfy at night…and in came Angelique Potgieter with the most brilliant idea of giving Bo a tent.

Angelique brought the tent, set it up and Bo settled straight away in his new cozy accommodation that is now filled with beds and blankets.

Bo could not be happier and we are grateful he is warm and super grateful to Angelique for making this happen for our Bo. 🙏🏻❤️

So overlooked… and we genuinely cannot understand how or why ! 😭💔

Meet Bloom — our beautiful Mastiff x Africanis teenager who has spent far too long growing up without a family to call his own.

This gentle boy is the last of his litter and has already been through more than most dogs should ever experience. The good news ? Bloom has been thriving in foster care for the past 6 months, and in that time he has truly blossomed into the most incredible young doggo.

He is wonderfully well-rounded and has been beautifully exposed to:
✨ Children (he is the absolute best friend to two young girls who adore him)
✨ Cats
✨ Other dogs of all age and size

Bloom is now 8 months old, full of life, and ready to finally step into the world he’s been waiting for — a real home of his own. Every day that passes is another day a family misses out on his best moments, his growth, and his love.

He is also house trained (yes, really!) — a huge bonus for any new family looking for an easy transition into home life.

Bloom doesn’t ask for much… just a chance. A couch. A family. A place to belong. ❤️
