✨ N1 City Adoption Day Wrap-Up: Cuddles, Curiosity & Second Chances ✨

This past Saturday, Petworld XXL N1 City was once again alive with the soft purrs, wagging tails, and joyful squeals that only rescue pets can bring. Cape Town Paws joined us with cats and puppies ready to charm every visitor — and they did just that!

While no adoptions were finalized on the day, there’s plenty of hope on the horizon. Four people showed interest in adopting cats (applications are already on the way!), and one visitor requested photos of all the available pups. Among the hopefuls is Max — a sweet 5–6 month-old black pup who sadly returned to rescue due to changes in his adopter’s work schedule. Though his journey took a detour, we know his true forever home is waiting just around the corner.

Thank you to everyone who stopped by to cuddle, connect, and share the love. Every giggle, every paw shake, and every smile brings these rescue pets one step closer to their happy ending.

This past Saturday, Petworld XXL Diep River may have been a little quieter thanks to the weather, but the love inside was anything but. Together with Happy Tails Langa, we welcomed families, children, and animal lovers who came to cuddle, connect, and share time with the rescue pets.

One visitor even showed interest in giving a forever home to an older dog as a companion for his German Shepherd — proof that the right match can spark at any moment. While no adoptions were confirmed on the day, every cuddle, every conversation, and every smile was a step closer to brighter tomorrows for these furry stars.

What a day! On Saturday, Petworld XXL Roodepoort became a hub of hugs, head tilts, and hopeful hearts. Together with Cast Aways Animal Sanctuary, we shared a day that was more than just wagging tails and whisker kisses — it was about connections that could change lives forever.

We were so touched to meet both our loyal shoppers and families who came just for the animals. Cast Aways lined up two possible adoptions with home checks happening this week, and even inspired a family to visit the sanctuary straight after the event to meet more furry friends! That’s the kind of ripple effect that keeps rescue work shining bright.
