So here is a sensative issue and will provoke a response be it negative or positive. This is my own personal opinion and insights. It's in no ways and means a reflection on any person just my thoughts.
Why do you have a dog. What was the reason for getting a dog.
Getting a dog is a huge responsibility and requires time, patience, energy love, affection and most important it requires you to be present. Some people take fantastic care of their dogs while other people feel that owning a dog is to fill a void. Some people feel that getting a rescue dog from 1 of the many organizations they have done a good thing, yet when you go to the house the dog is on its own outside and gets no attention, you feel that you have done a good deed by saving the dog from the dreaded decision of having it put down yet is it really any better off by you than at a shelter.
Some people get dogs as a status symbol or because having a power breed makes them look good, yet. They don't realize all the requirements for those dogs.
It weighs heavily on my heart to see animals neglected and rejected. People have money for restaurants and lavish life styles yet there is no money to get a good quality food for your dog. Your dogs see only the outside.
We as humans chose to domesticate dogs for our own gain and benifit yet when times are tough it's always the animals that suffer the most.
To those people out there that are disabled or elderly or young or less fortunate or even rich that do take care of their dog thank you so much for your time and effort.
To those that don't. Why did you ever get a dog or an animal.
I could spend hours just on this topic alone, yet sometimes less said is more said.
