Sometimes we don’t need words—actions say it all.

Something about this picture of Polly from 2023 made me grin. It’s not just that she’s adorable, but it reminded me of how I’m feeling right now: a little exhausted, a bit weary, but still calm, focused, and determined to keep pushing forward into the year ahead.

This photo reminded me how much can be said without words—and how our animals share that silent understanding with us every day. It’s something truly special.
