Meet Mia, the new family member. We all immediately fell this girl. That instant connection you have with a dog is something you cannot describe, it just happens and every fibre of you screams “this is your dog” 😍🐶

This is the definition of a poor correction and ABUSE of a dog.

This “correction” does nothing for the dog in a means of learning, the dog can never understand the reasons for you behaviour as the “correction” (abuse) has no clear delivery or end. The dog is left simply confused and physically harmed!

This “man” is nothing but a monster who wants an excuse to feel powerful.

A police officer in America has resigned ahead of his sacking, after footage of him choking a police dog was leaked online.

A great day with Tanya and Luna! One of my ongoing clients who was in need of adjusting Luna from being a working dog to family dog! An absolutely amazing dog with a keen desire to please! 😍Luna is on her way to being the perfect companion making great strides in lead discipline and not being reactive while on a walk. 🙌🐶

If you’ve been to Turkey, then you know that they have had large numbers of dogs and cats roaming the streets for years and they had allowed for the dogs to be adopted by tourists an taken home with them to live a better life. In fact if I am not mistaken they were encouraging it...

Well now turkey has banned this based on the allegations that the UK are exploiting the animals to be eaten and be subjected to other abusive and exploitive acts without evidence to support the claim.

As a person who values the rehoming and rescue of cats and dogs and participated in fostering n, rehabilitating and rehoming such dogs, this is a cause close to my heart.

Although the UK is not without bad animal owners (believe me I have encountered some shocking situations resulting in RSPCA reports), I think it’s safe to say that the UK tourists are not spending money on a holiday to then be taking homeless cats and dogs back home to then serve for dinner when Tesco’s meat aisle is stocked full of quality meat...

If you are like most UK residents and value and care for dogs to live a life they truly deserve of love and care, please take the time to sign this petition to pressure Turkey’s ban on the matter to be reversed and allow mans best friends to go to their forever home ❤️🐶

An update from my client, Kirsty and Hulk who within a week were able to flip the script and get Hulk less anxious in the crate and build up his self discipline! 🤩🙌 all it takes is a few minutes of your day and it shows how far that little bit of effort goes!😁

Here’s a quick video on how your confidence, body language and some special pressure can help a dog achieve the desired behaviour you want ! 😍

Rember that:
- A hunched or slouched posture does not present confidence or make you feel confident and then to dog perceived you as not too! 😱

- A soft voice when giving commands is a negotiation to the dog and not a direction. Don’t use aggression of a energetic tone in your voice. just say the command clear and concisely and the dog will respond better! 😜👌

- Claiming space is how a dog interact with people and other dogs as a way to achieve a desired outcome, by you temporarily invading a dogs space and forcing them to back away or lower their body position, your promoting the dog to stop the presented behaviour and replacing it with the one your want (calm and obedience) please keep in mind this is not an aggressive move, It is calm and confident, I don’t need to use fear or intimidation to make a dog responsive.

- Finally, if you’re not calm, you can’t get the dog to become calm, as their leader, you must lead by example and demonstrate the expected energy level you want for them to present. 🐶

Guys, it’s ok for your dog to get excited and have fun, you just need to teach them how to then calm down and return to a calm state of mind so that you can then direct them to avoid unwanted behaviour such as agitating other dogs or people 🙌

For more advice on how to manage your dogs behaviour, message me and discuss how I can help you unleash your dogs full potential 😊❤️

Here’s how I train a dog to be comfortable in their crate and not get anxious or stressed!

Make it fun for the dog and mentally stimulating 🙌 this exercise also teaches a dog not to get anxious when separated from us and builds their self discipline too!
