These four Brightlingsea pups spent their session continuing their resource guarding prevention training. They worked on “leave it,” “drop it,” and “swap it,” while also getting comfortable with handling for general health checks, vet visits, and grooming appointments.

Our aim is to make these experiences as normal, positive, and stress free as possible from an early age. Building these skills now helps puppies grow into confident, well mannered dogs who are comfortable being handled when needed.

They all did incredibly well!🐾😊

Only 3 pups managed to make tonight’s session in Ardleigh.

The pups have done a full session on resource guarding prevention. We’ve looked at handling them for our own health checks, grooming trips and vet visits.

They’ve done very well!🐾

Proud aunt alert! 🐾

I trained Barley as a puppy, and he’s growing up into such a fine dog!

Barley recently took part in a shoot with YuMOVE⁠, and they were so impressed by how well trained he is.

His owners have put in so much effort, and it has truly paid off. Watching him develop into such a confident, well behaved dog has been incredibly rewarding.

I’m so happy to have been part of Barley’s journey and can’t wait to see what he does next.

Meet my new best friend, Arthur.

This little chap was incredibly nervous when we first met, but by the end of the session we had become friends.

Together, we created a routine to help build his confidence, introduced him to some scent work, and set up a safe space for him in the lounge where he can relax and feel secure.

Arthur made fantastic progress, and I’m looking forward to seeing him continue to grow in confidence 🐾

Meet my new friend, Rosie! 🐾

This gorgeous girl has finally found her forever home.

She’s such a loving, intelligent dog. Even though she’s 2, we’re training her just like a puppy, focusing on the basics and building her confidence.

She’s already learning new commands and enjoying some nose work for mental stimulation.

I can’t wait to see her again for her next session.

It’s graduation day! 🎓🐶

These 5 puppies have successfully completed the Puppy Foundation Course in Langham.

The puppies and their owners have worked incredibly hard over the last 6 weeks.

I can’t wait to see some of them on the Follow-On Course.

Well done puppies! 🐾
