🚨 WE NEED SOME HELP, TUR FAMILY 🐾
Foster homes have been incredibly hard to find, and our boarding costs have reached a point where we cannot keep stretching our resources.
We already had several dogs in boarding when two former Underdogs unexpectedly found themselves back at the shelter through no fault of their own. When one of our dogs needs us again, we are there. So, of course, they came back to us.
We now have six dogs in boarding, costing us more than $2,000 every month just to keep them safe while they wait for somewhere to go.
We need help in several ways:
🏡 FOSTER
This is what we need most. Every dog who moves into a foster home immediately reduces our boarding expenses and gives that dog the comfort of a home while waiting for adoption.
❤️ SPONSOR AN UNDERDOG
Maybe you cannot foster, but you can help cover the cost of boarding for one of our dogs. You can sponsor a dog for a week, a month, or contribute whatever amount works for you. Full or partial sponsorships are incredibly helpful.
🐾 DONATE
Every $10, $20, or $50 adds up. Boarding does not stop at the end of a fundraiser. The bill continues every single day until these dogs have somewhere else to go.

You never know who on your friends list might be able to foster, sponsor, adopt, or help.
For now, The Underdogs Rescue is on intake hold. Until we can get some of these dogs out of boarding, bring these expenses down, and see a little light again, we simply cannot responsibly take on more animals.
We hate having to say no when an animal needs us. But right now, we need to make sure we can continue taking care of the ones who are already depending on us.
