This is Dakota, a 1 year old Husky, owned by one of our team mates, Paige. Dakota came in for her annual checkup and vaccines, then stayed for our Lunch and Learn team meeting.

If you guessed baby bunnies, you’re a winner! It’s that time of year and we’re reminding you to leave baby bunnies in their nest, even if you haven’t seen Mrs. Rabbit all day. Momma rabbits generally come to nurse the babies twice daily—in the early morning and again in the evening. She doesn’t live in the nest or stay with the babies because that would make the nest more noticeable to predators. Meet Lucky—the cutest little canine you could possibly imagine! Her name fits her perfectly. Her human parents are the nicest people! Lucky was full of energy and ready to go for a ride in the car. She did not want to stay still and pose for pictures! We were laughing so hard after several attempts, that Lucky’s Dad had to hold her while Mom did what she could to get Lucky to look at the camera! We haven’t had such a good laugh in a very long time! We are lucky to have such fun pet parents to work with! 😘
