Bristol Veterinary Clinic will be closed today, Monday, July 20, to give our team a well-earned day off after working through Friday’s and Saturday’s OFA Super Clinic.

We will resume normal business hours on Tuesday, July 21.

When we say our OFA Super Clinic was a success, we mean it was a SMASHING SUCCESS!

🐶🐱 We are so proud to report we helped 95 animals — 89 dogs and 6 cats! — complete a wide variety of health screenings over the two half-days!

Our team and visiting specialists did:
🦴 25 Hip x-rays
💪 22 Elbow x-rays
🩻 4 Spine x-rays
🫀 46 Advanced cardiac evaluations with Echocardiograms
❤️ 14 Basic cardiac evaluations
👀 47 Advanced Ophthalmic evaluations
👔 11 Thyroid Database submissions
🦷 3 Dentition Evaluations
🦵 4 Patella Evaluations
🫘 1 Kidney Database Evaluation
🔍 7 Microchip implantations with registration
🦠 4 Titer tests
🥽 3 Brucellosis tests

We saw many old friends and met a lot of new ones! We are so grateful to the clients who entrusted us with their animals’ important testing, the magnanimous specialists who travelled far and sacrificed their time with their families and their day off, and the amazing BVC team who worked so hard to prepare for this extravaganza and keep it running smoothly for TWO DAYS!

This was a huge undertaking and we are so proud of what we were all able to accomplish together!
