Some dogs come into my life through work, but somehow become part of my heart forever. Indy was one of those dogs for me.

Over the years, I had the privilege of watching her grow, walking her, feeding her, and loving her. What started as caring for a client’s dog slowly turned into loving her like one of my own. She had such a sweet presence about her, and being part of her life all these years was truly an honor.

I’m heartbroken knowing she’s gone, but so grateful for every walk, every cuddle, every happy greeting, every treat, and every quiet moment we shared together.

One of the hardest parts of this work is that I don’t just care for the animals — I love them deeply. And eventually, I grieve them too.

I’ll see you at the Rainbow Bridge someday, Indy. 🌈🐾💜
