So it seems the Porta Potty is gone. When I talked to Ken last, he had warned me that if the budget did not pass, things would be going away. Thus, we have no bathroom for now. I will wait to see what is actually going to happen before I try and figure out if anything can be done.

Another thing he mentioned that might go away are the p**p bags. We will have to start bringing our own and actually be responsible for our dogs bowel movements. This has not been confirmed yet, but I am putting it out there so if they are gone one day everyone will know why.

Things are going to change and even though we don't require a lot, things will be taken or reduced. Let's all pray that doesn't happen.

I will keep everyone posted as I learn more.

Are your dogs up to date on the bordetella vaccine? I was just notified that one of our dog patrons who is up to date on shots contacted a strain of kennel cough from the dog park that evidently isn't covered in the bordetella shot. Please watch your dogs carefully and if you see any starting signs of kennel cough get into your vet for antibiotics

Who we are and what we do

Hello! Thank you for being a part of our dog friendly community! This page is to keep everyone updated on the progress we are making at our Randall Dog Park. Lots of changes have been taking place for the benefit of our fur babies and humans. We are all VOLUNTEERS dedicating our time as we love our park and in order to keep it as a free admission park, we should be doing our part to maintain it and help get things we request. Like anything, if you use it you should respect it.

We will also be sending out KUDOS to those that do volunteer their time and to the businesses that are stepping up to make our dream requests come true! Without them, we would not have the park at all!

If you have a request or suggestion, please feel free to post or message us. Since we are a community, we all need to have input on things and maybe someone might even have a connection to get that request done. As always, anything that is a major change that we request has to be run by the Parks and Recreation Department.
