This is why it’s VERY important breeders don’t rehome their puppies at 5 weeks old. 5-8+ weeks old mommas (genetically programmed to LOVE them) can safely correct behavior a other dog who does not “love them” won’t have to. This helps enforce confidence as an older puppy because they don’t get overly corrected by a dog.
