This Christian youth camp and retreat has been operating since 1978 on 390 beautiful acres of land in the state of Washington. Royal Rides is nestled in the stunning and magnificent Cascade Mountain Range. This non-profit ministry is designed to offer non-denominational programs in teaching, design and scope. We offer summer camps for first grade to twelfth grade aged youth, and there are also yea

r round programs available. Retreats are available September through June and are great for groups and organizations. The facility also has other activites which include a Challenge Course with high and low elements and a 38 ft climbing Wall; Paintball, both woodsball and speedball; a small lake for canoes and paddle boats; plus other outdoor activities.

The energy out was absolutely incredible. Thanks to all of our amazing runners, walkers, cheering squads, and volunteers, the event was a huge success. We couldn't have asked for a better day or a better community to share the trails with.
If you had fun today, get ready... because we are definitely doing this again next year! Keep an eye on our page for future updates, because we can't wait to make the next one even bigger and better.

🌲 RACE DAY IS FINALLY HERE! 🌲
Woke up feeling spontaneous? The weather is looking great, and it is NOT too late to join us for Run the Ridges! 🏃‍♂️✨
By joining us this morning, you aren't just getting outside for a great run or walk—you are also supporting a fantastic cause! All proceeds from today's event go directly toward camper scholarships, helping kids who wouldn't otherwise be able to attend experience the life-changing love of the Lord at camp. 💚

Are you ready to run the ridges? 🏃‍♂️✨ We can’t wait to see you all at the starting line tomorrow! To make sure your race morning is smooth and stress-free, here is everything you need to know before you head out:
📍 WHERE ARE WE GOING?
The race starts and finishes at:
20115 NE 354th St, Yacolt, WA
(Parking is available on-site!)
⏰ WHAT IS THE SCHEDULE?
9:00 AM: Check-in, day-of registration, and packet pickup opens.
9:30 AM: The first race officially begins! 🏁
👟 WHICH DISTANCE CAN I DO?
We have 5K and 2K options available! Everyone is welcome to choose their preferred distance, including kids. There are absolutely no age restrictions for the 5K, so runners and walkers of all ages can join in!
📝 WHAT ABOUT THE LIABILITY WAIVER?
Please remember to fill out your liability form prior to race day if you can! If you aren't able to complete it beforehand, don’t sweat it—you can easily fill one out right at the check-in table.
🍿 IS THERE POST-RACE FUN?
Oh, yes! 🎉 Stick around after you cross the finish line to celebrate:
Our snack shack will be wide open and stocked with awesome camp swag.
Grab a bag of fresh kettle corn from Sisters-are-We.
Cool down with a sweet treat from Kona Ice! 🍧

💬 QUICK RUNDOWN ON COMMONLY ASKED QUESTIONS:
🎧 Can I wear earbuds/headphones?
Yes, but please keep one ear open for your safety so you can hear course instructions and fellow runners.
👶 Are strollers allowed?
Yes! Strollers are welcome on both courses. The 2K is a fantastic option for families with younger kids. If you want to do the 5K with a stroller, please just line up at the very back of the race group so you don't accidentally bump into anyone.
🐾 Can I bring my dog?
Due to our insurance requirements, dogs are unfortunately not allowed. Please leave your furry friends cozy at home!
