It’s getting hot out there! Let’s make sure these are the only hot dogs we see! 🌭 ☀️

1. If it’s too hot out for you, it’s too hot out there for them!
2. Provide plenty of water!
3. Provide shaded areas and utilize cooling jackets and mats!
4. Splash pads are fun ways to keep our furry friends cool!
5. If you must walk your dog on pavement, invest in protective booties!
6. Do not leave pets in hot cars!
7. It’s ok to stop play on these hot days!

Signs of over heating include excessive panting, lethargy, vomiting, incoordination, hot skin, and collapse. If you see these signs contact your veterinarian ASAP!

Yesterday we gave Dr. Lilly Frith a warm NY welcome! Prior to moving here from Texas she visited and was introduced to apple picking and apple cider donuts 😋. We aren't sure, but we think those apple cider donuts may have been a deciding factor in her relocation choice🍎.

We’re so excited to welcome Dr. Lilly Frith to the 4 Paws Veterinary Care team! 💙🐶🐱
Dr. Frith grew up in a home filled with furry friends—her family fostered dogs year-round, including one unforgettable experience with five dogs and a mom with 12 puppies! While she once dreamed of becoming a forensic scientist, her time working as a veterinary assistant in high school sparked a new passion. She realized that veterinary medicine offered the perfect mix of mystery-solving and meaningful connections with animals and their people.
Now, she’s turning that passion into purpose—right here at 4 Paws!
