Pet Parents ‼️
The Downriver Grooming Company offers walk-in nail trims for $15! But TODAY, we are offering a special if you have multiple dogs. If you have more than one pet you are bringing in for a nail trim we are taking $5 off each pet.
We are open and ready! 🐕
Did you know that it is important to get your pets’ nails done at least every 4 weeks? You can even get them done more frequently than that!
Making sure to do your pets’ nails frequently ⬇️
Prevents pain and injury: Longer nails add more pressure to your pets’ feet. Making it uncomfortable for them to walk and adding strain to their joints over time. In some cases, overgrown nails can also crack or split, exposing the quick and creating a risk for infection.
Maintains their hygiene: Clean, trimmed nails don’t hold as many germs. Leaving them longer allows more bacteria to stay on their feet, sometimes causing irritation or infection.
Reduces stress: Coming in frequently for nails helps them get adjusted to the process. If your pet dislikes the nail trim now, how will they be when they are older? This goes back to pain prevention. When they are older, they are more weak and, in most cases, arthritic. If we can’t do your pets’ nails because they aren’t comfortable with the process, that’s more ache and pain added to them.
