I am writing to remind you of my no-show/cancellation policy.
This policy is in place to ensure that my income is secure and that I can continue to provide the services that I offer. My job is my primary source of income, and it is essential that I maintain a consistent schedule to meet my financial obligations.
I understand that the current economic climate may be challenging, but it still impacts me as well. I will send you a text message reminder two weeks in advance of your appointment. This should provide you with sufficient time to decide whether you can attend or not. Additionally, I will send you a reminder text three days before and the day before your appointment.
Canceling your appointment at the last minute is difficult to reschedule. Not attending your appointment directly affects my income.
As many of you are aware, I am expecting a baby soon. I am working as long as possible to ensure that I can provide for my family once the baby arrives.
I genuinely dislike having to inform a client that I must charge them for a full missed appointment. However, at the end of the day, this is my income.
From this point forward, my no-show/cancellation policy will be mandatory. If you fail to attend your appointment, you will be required to pay for the missed appointment in order to schedule a new one. This payment will only cover the missed appointment and will not be deducted from the cost of the new appointment. Failure to remit the fee will necessitate the search for a replacement groomer. I am unwilling to tolerate individuals who lack the respect to acknowledge that this is my livelihood.
If you cancel within 24 hours, half of the appointment will be charged. This is because it is challenging to accommodate last-minute changes.
As always, please do not hesitate to contact me if you have any questions or concerns. I am understanding and willing to accommodate your needs. However, not attending your appointment, especially when you have confirmed it or when you receive multiple text messages, makes me feel uncomfortable and forces me to take a difficult decision.
