he well-being of animals and the people of Monroe County, Southeast Ohio. Every role in our shelter is filled by passionate volunteers, and we operate without monetary support from state, federal, or local entities.

💙 Our Mission: We are committed to the general welfare, sheltering, and placement of animals, preventing cruelty to animals, addressing animal overpopulation, and educating our community on the humane treatment of all living creatures.

🌟 How We Operate: All the funds we receive, whether through fundraisers, community support, membership fees, or grants, go directly back into the shelter. Unlike national animal welfare groups, your donations here directly impact the lives of local pets in need.

AVAILABLE FOR ADOPTION!

These are all of our dogs and some of our cats that are ready for their new homes! We will post more cats in the next couple of days.

We are so full at our shelter and we have dogs and cats waiting to come in.

If your looking for a fantastic companion, we have one (or 2) for you!

And if you have time, please consider voluteering a couple hours a week or twice a month, taking care of our precious animals.

We didn't write in the animal descriptions all the vetting to save a little time, but the dogs have all been altered, microchipped, 4DX tested, dewormed, Rabies, DHLPP and Lyme vaccinated and treated monthly with Nexgard and Interceptor Plus. Cats have been feline leukemia tested, altered, Rabies and FVRCP vaccinated. Treated upon arrival with Nexgard Combo.

COURTESY POST: His name is Duke. He is a lab pit mix. He is food aggressive and we’re not sure why. He’s never had to share food and has never went without either. He will be 4 years old in July. He’s a good dog and very loving as long as he isn’t eating. Desperately needing a home.
