In honor of Earth Day, we’re spotlighting one of the many ways our team cares for the creatures we share our planet with.

Dr. Foti and Technician Karina recently treated a red-tailed hawk brought to us from Audubon Center for Birds of Prey after it was injured by a fish hook—an important reminder of how our environment and wildlife are deeply connected.

We proudly support wildlife rescue efforts and advocate for a cleaner, safer Earth for all living beings.

Wildlife patients? We’ve seen 145 so far this year! 🐢 🐿️From tortoises, to squirrels to young fledglings! Every week at Winter Park Vet is an adventure. We work with Swamp Girl Adventures Reptile Rehabilitation and The haven for injured and orphaned wildlife and rely on them for the rehabilitation of our wild life intakes.

Our expertise in exotics allows us to provide safe, innovative care for our wild friends, even surgery when they need it—because every animal deserves a helping hand! 🩺💙

🩺 Yesterday, Dr. Chris George from Elanco Animal Health for spent the afternoon with our team! Our doctors had the opportunity to discuss internal medicine cases and learn from his expertise in endocrinology, nephrology, and gastroenterology. Plus, a delicious Panera lunch made for the perfect mid-day refresher! ✨

A huge shoutout to Riley Horvis from Elanco for facilitating this visit and providing the amazing catered lunch for our team—we truly appreciate your support!
