So Thankful and Blessed that this Rooster, ‘Ned Money’ recovered from the spinal fracture 🩻he endured last year during the dog attack. He has faithfully continued to protect his flock of lady’s patrolling the property like the true protector he is. 🥰.

I Love all things ‘pine needle’, tea, syrup, soda - I even cut them up small and put in my chicken scratch. Obviously use them as well in pigeon nest boxes. Pine needles have lots of great properties: Antiviral, Anti-fungal…, just great all around.

The annual Chattahoochee Valley Poultry Association show will return to the Coweta County Fairgrounds to celebrate its 20th anniversary.

The show and swap meet will be held Feb. 20 and 21 from 9 a.m. to 6 p.m. on Friday and 6 a.m. to 6 p.m. on Saturday.

Bryan Massengale, president of the CVPA, said there will be about 1,500 birds at the show this year, with exhibitors from 21 states travelling to display their birds.

Vendors at the swap meet will sell a variety of items, Massengale said, such as barbecue sauce, honey and arts and crafts.

Massengale said he expects about 6,000 people to come by the show to see and buy chickens.

Due to the winter storm, ❄️ I literally have every ‘normally outside’ chicken, either inside chicken building or the house, sooo I just ‘had to’ make thisl 🤪

Got everyone all bundled up at the chicken building. Even have a generator all gassed up and ready to go in case we loose power.
