The Mitchell family raised money with a lemonade stand to help us build this sanctuary shelter, honoring their beloved dog, Alice — adopted from Paws Place in 2016. Now, her name will forever be part of our campaign that is helping to saves lives, just like hers. 🙏

Meet Boba Fett! A fearless 2 year old, bounty hunter turned loyal companion, Boba Fett was discovered in the woods by a kind hunter—battered, underweight, and fighting off more than one battle scar. At just 37 lbs and suffering from infections in his jaw and leg, he had clearly been through a galactic war of his own.
Since landing at Paw’s Place, Boba has made an incredible recovery. With his infections healed and his leg surgery behind him, this brave boy is now 50 lbs of love, loyalty, and resilience.
He's still healing, but don’t be fooled—his heart is already fully operational. Ready for snuggles, strolls, and a forever home in a galaxy not-so-far away. Due to his unknown past that led him to a life on his own, Boba Fett is dog selective.

Rhea here, and boy am I ready for a big ole cozy couch to call my own… I have had a rough life for a 4 year old… I mean I am very lucky let me tell ya! I was found as a stray, and a pregnant, tri-pawd (three legged dog) at that! Do not worry thankfully I didn’t stay at a county shelter long before a nice family fostered me and let me have my 6 beautiful girls while in their care. Once we were all safe and healthy we were brought to Paws Place! I am so happy to have found a safe place for me and my girls but I am ready to find comfort in a forever home. I am a little insecure about just about everything really. A lot has happened this last few months you know? But my fosters say that I am house broken, and get along with cats/dogs so finding my forever family shouldn’t take long!

💙AVAILABLE FOR ADOPTION💙 Meet Halo. Halo has had a rough life to be just 2 years of age. We are unsure what her past may have looked like, but she shows signs of distrust, anxiety and caution. Though Halo is 41lbs of pure scaredy cat, Halo has been slowly showing off her bravery over these last few months. She is still scared of new faces but with a little patience and reassurance, she has made a few friends with the staff/volunteers. She is showing a lot of interest in the playpen and treats. Halo came to us Heartworm Positive, but she has completed treatment! Now, do not let her shy nature deture you for being interested. If anything, we ask that you think hard about the positive impact your kindness, patience, loyalty and love could bring to a dog like Halo. Halo is unsure how to be a dog and how to accept all the above listed. But with time and consistency, she could learn to be the dog she is meant to be. She just needs a little help figuring out how. Halo deserves to find her forever home, and we hope with a little help from you, we can do just that!
