Happy Halloween from Rosey & Posey! 🎃👻

These two cuties will be available soon at Paws Place, but they couldn’t wait to say hi.

More on Rosey & Posey very soon. 🖤

What a day at Pawz In Park ! 🐾🌳

Chucky and Jones had a blast meeting so many new friends. By the end of the day, they were completely worn out (the best kind of tired!).

The highlight for us was seeing our alumni stop by: Hank, Blossom (now Cass), Pumpkin (now Cheyene), and Owen. There’s nothing better than seeing these happy, healthy faces living their best lives after leaving Paws Place. 💛

Thank you to everyone who came out, said hello, and gave our dogs so much love. Chucky and Jones are still dreaming about it!

Interested in meeting Chucky, Jones, or any of our other dogs waiting for their forever homes? Visit pawsplace.org or stop by 242 George II Highway in Winnabow.

Happy Halloween from Mocha! 🎃🦇

Unfortunately, Mocha has been at Paws Place long enough to have worn her fair share of costumes.

There’s still one she hasn’t gotten to wear, though: someone’s dog.

We think that one would look pretty perfect on her. 🖤

Ranger has a pretty simple Saturday agenda: ball. 🎾

Play ball. Chase ball. Bring ball back. Convince someone to throw ball again.

He’s ready to get his weekend started, and he’d be even happier if a few visitors stopped by to join him.

Ranger is available for adoption at Paws Place. Come play a round or two with him today! 💛

TOMORROW! Pawz in Park is almost here! 🐾🎃

Tomorrow, Saturday, October 31, we’ll be at Long Leaf Park in Wilmington for the 13th Annual Pawz In Park . Bring your four-legged friends for music, pet contests, raffle prizes, a silent auction, cold b**r, hot food, and great pet vendors, all benefiting local animal rescues.

And yes, we’re bringing Chucky and Jones! 😍

Jones is all smiles and Chucky is ready to meet everyone, and both are looking for their forever homes. Tomorrow could be the day you meet your new best friend.

Don’t wait. Come find us tomorrow, say hi, and give these two the attention they deserve!

🚨 Shoutout to Jeremy! 🚨

Today Jeremy from Wolf Security Solutions is at Paws Place replacing the smoke detectors throughout our facility, and he's donating both the detectors AND the batteries! 🔋🙌

Keeping our kennels safe means keeping our dogs safe, and we are so grateful for generous community members like Jeremy who show up for our pups. Thank you for helping us protect the dogs in our care! 🐾❤️

How has no one scooped up Raptor yet? 💛

He’s 7 months old, goofy, playful, treat-motivated, and always ready for whatever fun is happening next.

Raptor is looking for a home where he can be the only dog, which just means he’s accepting applications for the position of your one and only. 😂 He has a whole lot of growing up ahead of him. We’d really love for him to do it in a home of his own.

Come meet Raptor! 🐾

Ladybug is wrapping up her month as our October Dog of the Month with a BIG thank you!🎃🖤

Thank you to everyone who shared her posts, cheered her on, and helped us spread the word about this very special girl.

November means a new Dog of the Month is coming soon, and another Paws Place pup will get their turn in the spotlight.

Please keep sharing our dogs. You never know whose person might be watching!🐾
