We have spruced up and doubled our parking lot. We have been long kicking the can down the road. We have needed more parking for some time.

Breaking News!! The construction fencing has been removed from around the clinic, and it’s been cleaned up and now they are working on expanding the parking lot to the side of the building. They are working on finishing the sheetrock inside. We are getting really close to getting back in the building.

Here’s a tour of Fix A Friend today! We have all the Sheetrock back up, dividing up the rooms. Sheetrock is just getting finished and all the concrete pads are in!

Boy do we have action at the clinic today!!! We are getting down to details! We have the rest of the concrete going in around the building at the base of all the ramps, under the dumpster, under the porch, a sidewalk at the base of the disability ramp! Even in the rain!!!

Fix A Friend is getting a new roof today. We had roof damage from Hurricane Florence, but the insurance money that came in from that storm did not cover the flood damage and the roof damage. Since we had so much flood damage in 2018, there was not enough money to fix the roof. So here we are today, getting the new roof we needed from Florence while we repair the building from the second flood in Sept of 2024. We just simply cannot let it wait any longer. This is an added expense we hadn’t planned for, but need to do. See last picture!!! We have a brand new pretty roof!!!
