For after hours emergencies regarding a procedure performed at our clinic we refer you to ECVR at 910-790-1070. We are waging war on local pet overpopulation by providing quality surgeries at an affordable price. We work with animal shelters, rescues, feral cat caretakers and the general public to help animals get fixed. We provide traps and carriers for Good Samaritans who want to spay or neuter

feral cats. There are no geographic limitations. We are a member of the National Spay Neuter Response Team whose collective mission is to end the euthanasia of companion animals nationwide through the efforts of aggressive spaying and neutering in local communities.

Exactly 1 year ago today….

In the middle of the workday, a few inches of rain quickly turned into over 3 feet. Our dedicated team members spent hours fighting the rapidly rising water to get everyone out safely with the help of the Brunswick County Sheriff’s office.

The community rallied and the team pushed forward, working in tents and mobile units, knowing that the service they provide is an essential one.

We are now back in our renovated, much higher, much drier building, still doing what we love and still feeling so much support from so many in and around our community.

We can finally look back on this day and feel a sense of accomplishment, we didn’t let it break us, we let it make us stronger.

The moving dust is settling and we are beginning to restock our supplies that were lost due to the flood and loss of storage space. Our Amazon list has been updated and we will continue to update it as we move along. We are always accepting towels, sheets, blankets, bowls, etc! We are so thankful to the community for your support, not only during the past year, but every single day of every year! Without you all… we wouldn’t be able to do what we do!! ❤️ 🐾

There were a lot of obvious reasons why we wanted to be back in our building but one huge reason close to our hearts, that may have been overshadowed, is our ability to nearly double our surgery numbers!! Our amazing team was able to break the barrier today!!! Cats broke triple digits alone, reaching 101 here for surgery, while the dogs came in at 19, bringing our grand total to 120! Best part, the team was done and gone before the sun began to set!
Thank you to everyone for all your community support throughout this little adventure, we are fully back up and running at full-speed, officially!

THANKS FROM THE FRIENDS YOU FIXED . . .
by taking part in the 2025 tournament. The event not only paid for spay/neuter for a number of rescued dogs and cats, it also raised community awareness of the effort to decrease euthanasia rates through widespread spay/neuter. Special thanks to organizer Crystal Lee, as well as players, spectators, & donors of raffle prizes.

SNEAK PEAK at Fix A Friend! We are all done and going through county inspections. We are hoping to get the Certificate of Occupancy tomorrow so we can use the weekend to install the dog runs, move equipment in and try to get the NC Vet Board to inspect early next week. Thank you to everyone who donated to help make this possible. For 10 months we have been operating out of storage containers, mobile units and tents in rain, snow and heat. We would love to be back in our building doing what we do best: Spaying and Neutering!

YOU & BRUNSWICK BEER & CIDER CAN HELP FIX A FRIEND!
When you order a pint of West Coast IPA at Brunswick Beer in Leland in July, the brewery will donate to Fix a Friend Spay/Neuter Clinic. It's a fun & tasty way to help save more dogs & cats from lives of endless reproduction. Fix a Friend was flooded in September and is close to reopening in an elevated, fully refurbished building. Thanks to Brunswick Beer & Cider for this boost, & thanks to you for supporting Adopt an Angel & Fix a Friend! https://www.facebook.com/brunswickbeerandcider
