🎉 6 Months of Stay and Play Pet Care! 🐾
Today marks 6 months since I officially became the owner of Stay and Play Pet Care — and what an amazing journey it’s been! From wagging tails to cozy cuddles, every day has brought something new, and I couldn't be more grateful.

💛 My "Why"
Before owning Stay and Play, I was a client — someone who brought my own dogs here and entrusted this team with their care. I know what it feels like to hand over the leash and hope your pets are safe, loved, and happy.
That’s exactly the kind of care I aim to continue to provide now as the owner: compassionate, attentive, and deeply personal. I’ve walked in your shoes, and every decision I make is rooted in the same love and concern I had for my own pups.
Our new logo is a tribute to the dogs who inspired our journey with Stay and Play.
It features the pups from our own family who once enjoyed their “pupcations” here long before we owned it — a place we trusted and loved. Represented in the design are our two chocolate labs, Jax and Opie, my parents' German Shorthaired Pointer, Cash, my brother’s basset hound, Waylon, and my in-laws’ beloved chocolate lab, Hoss, who sadly crossed the rainbow bridge shortly after we purchased Stay and Play.
Each of them holds a special place in our hearts, and now, they’re part of the heart of our business too.

🛠️ What We've Been Working On
Your continued trust has allowed us to invest in important improvements that make Stay and Play even safer, more comfortable, and ready for anything. Here’s what we’ve been up to over the last 6 months:
• 🔧 Kennel Improvements – We’ve refreshed and upgraded some of our kennel spaces for even more comfort and cleanliness. More improvements are on the way in the coming months!
• 🔥 Smoke Detectors & Emergency Preparedness – We’ve upgraded to a mesh smoke detection system that not only sounds alarms throughout the building but also sends instant alerts directly to my phone. In addition, we’ve created an evacuation plan covering multiple scenarios to ensure your pets are protected no matter what.
• ❤️ Staff Training Enhancements – Our team is undergoing additional training, including pet CPR and first aid, so we can respond quickly and confidently when it matters most.
