Because of a last minute cancellation, Jelly Bean is available once again. She is 13 weeks old and was supposed to be going this weekend along with her sister, April. Bunny is already doing great in her new home. If you are interested in Jelly Bean, send me (Laurie Spalding) an email or give me a call at 607-693-2828.

I am very sad to announce that Robert Jay Russell, President of the mCTCA and founder of the Coton breed in the US passed away on Wednesday, June 26. He had fallen and broken his leg in the beginning of June and had to have an extensive surgery. The following day while still in intensive care, he had a stroke which left him unable to move his left side. Last weekend he was finally moved from the hospital to a nursing home to start rehab. He was improving daily and was able to move his hand and wiggle his toes but needed extensive physical therapy. On Wednesday morning, the nurses found him unresponsive and called an ambulance. Although they managed to restart his heart at the hospital, they were unable to keep it going and it stopped again. RIP, Jay, and thank you for your discovery and dedication to the Coton de Tulear for the last 45 years.

And the puppies at six weeks. They've gone from little potatoes to real puppies! Tomorrow they will be moving into a bigger pen.
