Animal Adventure is a Zoological Association of America (ZAA) a

ccredited interactive educational animal park, nestled in the hills of Harpursville, NY, just 15 minutes outside of Binghamton. Our goal is to communicate an appreciation for living things through the use of the human senses; allowing our guests to get up close and hands on with our animal ambassadors. Home to over 100 species! The unique experience of hand feeding 100s of animals. Being neck and neck with our giraffes, spotting an emerging kangaroo or rubbing elbows with our antelope, engages and educates guests of all ages. Through understanding and appreciation, we achieve education! Education leads to preservation and conservation! Many schools and organizations have joined us for group visits, as a source of educational entertainment! Visit our site to learn more about groups and group rates! We are Federally licensed by the USDA; ensuring that our animals, their care, and facilities meet the same standards of zoos and aquariums in the US. After Labor Day, the Preserve deck will transition to weekends only for your safari giraffe adventures!

We open our gates early at 8:30am this Saturday (8/23) for our final Low Sensory Morning of the season.

Low Sensory Mornings are a special time for guests with sensory sensitivities to explore the park without the hustle & bustle of our daytime Summer crowds!

While especially appropriate for children and adults with Autism and/or Sensory Processing Disorder, these outings are open to anyone with any type of need and their families, who feel that this environment would be best for visiting!

No pre-registration required, regular admission rates apply, free as always for our members!

This Saturday (8/23) and Sunday (8/24) we celebrate all Pre-K thru 12 teachers, administrators, bus drivers, coaches, janitorial workers, and other support staff with FREE admission to both parks!

Just show your ID or other proof of employment at admissions and enjoy one last day of adventure before the school year begins!

Well, we didn’t know it was possible…but our sloth encounter somehow got even MORE adorable🥹

We have a new baby sloth now calling our Sloth House home with the rest of our two-toed crew! Also joining us for our sloth encounters, he’s slowly but surely becoming more and more open to visitors, pets and of course a treat or two!

A little Lion Cub cuteness to cure your rainy day blues!

Regardless of weather, the youngest members of our pride are always on the prowl for a good time. Scaling their rock structures, friendly play wrestling, or simply just exploring all of the sights, sounds and smells that their big cat oasis has to offer, you never know what kind of adorable adventures await during your visit!

That’s what awaits this Saturday (8/23) during our final Low Sensory Morning of the season from 8:30-10:00am☀️

Low Sensory Mornings are special days for individuals with sensory sensitivities and other needs to visit and explore the park without the hustle and bustle of our daytime summer crowds.

While especially appropriate for guests with sensory sensitivities, Low Sensory Mornings are open to all guests who feel this type of visit would offer a better experience for their party.
