ittakestwofarm.com/signup It Takes Two Farm started as a dream. It was also my desire to offer a “different” type of therapeutic activity.

I envisioned that one day I could offer my horses, share my knowledge and pass on my experience to those interested in learning about horses. Making this dream a reality would not have been possible with out the support of my parents, children and friends. Over the years many clients have asked about how the farm was named and what the name means. There are really three parts to the answer. First, I once had a horse named “It Takes Two”, Twoey, who was a great companion and an inspiration. There is a beautiful painting of him (with Arissa) that hangs in the classroom. Secondly, it takes two, both a horse and a rider working together as a team to form a successful partnership. Thirdly, it takes two to have a conversation, it takes two to have a successful relationship of any kind, it takes two people working together to accomplish goals and overcome obstacles. From a therapeutic perspective it is this intertwining of two beings that creates a unique opportunity for comfort, growth, peace and joy. Many of you have asked for more Ladies Social Rides, so we’re holding TWO on Saturday, November 14! 🐴

$75 per person

Grab a friend—or come meet some new ones—and enjoy grooming, riding, and a little time to slow down on the farm. ❤️

🎄📸 Holiday Selfie Photo Day at It Takes Two Farm!

Bring your family, your camera, and your holiday smiles! We’ll have three festive photo spots around the farm with Christmas trees, wreaths, a red wagon, and plenty of holiday charm—perfect for your holiday cards and photo gifts! ❤️

I’ll be decorating right after Halloween and will share photos of the finished spots so you can start planning!

We’re so excited to share our new Sensory Trail during our Halloween Parent & Child Farm Time this Saturday! 🎃

Make some music, try the balance beam, enjoy a story at Reading Rock, explore the buckle board, and find your way through the “quicksand”—with more discoveries along the way!

Come enjoy time together, visit the animals, and let your little ones explore, play, and use their imaginations. Optional pony rides, too! 🐴

To say I’m overwhelmed—in the best way—by the response to our Adult Riding Club is an understatement! ❤️

If you’re interested, please fill out the form using the link in the image. Having everyone’s names and contact information in one place will help me stay organized and make sure I don’t miss anyone!

I wear many hats here at the farm. Along with teaching and caring for the horses, I handle all the paperwork, emails, and correspondence myself. Thank you for being patient with me as I catch up!

Pumpkin a Nigerian dwarf goat (wether) born in July is available to a good home. He unfortunately is so much bigger than Daisy that his playfulness is too much for her. She is more of a sit back and watch type of goat and he is loving to check everything out type of goat. He is friendly and easy to care for.
If you or anyone you know is looking for an adorable goat let me know.

The club is for adults with previous riding experience. A little rusty? That’s fine—we’ll help you along the way!❤️

Each month, we offer a few day and time options so you can choose what works for you. Adulting is hard enough—making time for something you love should feel good!
