As we head into the final weeks of our grazing season, the girls are making the most of these last days out on pasture! 🐄🌱☀️

One of the important parts of being a certified organic dairy farm is making sure our cows get plenty of time out on pasture. Organic standards require a minimum of 120 days on pasture each year, with at least 30% of their daily dry matter intake coming from pasture during the grazing season.

It's a big part of what we believe in here at Daisy Hill Farm. Giving our girls the opportunity to graze, enjoy the fresh air, and do what cows are meant to do! ❤️

As the seasons change and winter approaches, we'll soon be transitioning from green pastures to our winter routine. We're thankful for every extra day of sunshine and grazing we get this time of year!

There's nothing quite like seeing the girls lined up and heading out to pasture! 🌾🐄

🐄❤️ 10 YEARS OF DREAMING, WORKING, AND GROWING! ❤️🐄

From age 17 to 27, it’s amazing to look back and see just how far this journey has taken us. What started with one cow and a dream has grown into something we once could only imagine.

Through long days, late nights, countless hours of hard work, and plenty of challenges along the way, we’ve continued to chase that dream. Today, we’re approaching 80 cows, moving into a larger facility, and taking the next big step of shipping milk commercially! 🥛🚜

Farming isn’t just a job to us — it’s a way of life. It’s early mornings, late nights, sacrifices, learning as we go, and putting our hearts into something we believe in. There have been plenty of ups and downs, but looking back at where we started makes every bit of it worth it.

These pictures show more than just the passing of 10 years. They show growth, determination, hard work, and a dream that never stopped getting bigger. We still have a long way to go, and there’s always something new to learn, but we’re proud of how far we’ve come.

Never underestimate what can happen when you believe in a dream, put in the work, and refuse to give up. ❤️

Here’s to the next chapter, new opportunities, and continuing to build something special, one day at a time.

We’ve been working our way through our long list of projects and getting things buttoned up before winter arrives! A huge thank-you to everyone who came out to help this weekend while Carli got to enjoy a little getaway to Florida! ☀️❤️ We appreciate all the extra hands and support!

We are so grateful to our organic certifier for creating a YouTube video featuring our journey of transitioning to organic farming! It means so much to us to have our story shared and to have the opportunity to show others what this journey looks like.

We also want to give a special thank-you to The Milkhouse in Monmouth, Maine, for the mentorship, guidance, and support along the way. Having people who are willing to share their knowledge and help us grow makes such a difference as we continue learning and working toward our goals.

Farming is more than a job to us — it’s a way of life. Every day brings new challenges, lessons, and opportunities to do better. We truly appreciate everyone who has taken the time to support us and be part of our journey. ❤️
