We are more than a thrift store! 💙 Behind every item donated and every purchase made is a life being changed. Your support helps care for the animals in our shelter while also funding so many amazing programs that make a difference in our community. We’ll be sharing “More Than a Thrift Store” along the way to show just how much impact YOU are making for shelter pets. 🐾

Today, we are talking about the WASPCA’s Purple Leash Program in partnership with The Laurel Center: Intervention for Domestic and Sexual Violence! 💜 Research confirms that victims of domestic abuse stay in harm’s way to protect the animal members of their family. Pets are often targeted by abusers and are threatened, harmed, or even killed as part of the cycle of abuse. By being a foster for The Purple Leash program, you are saving lives and keeping families together safely. 💜

Jasper, this lovable boy stopped by to see us today on his Adventure Tail. He is still patiently waiting for his FURever home and we hope his perfect match finds him soon. He’s a senior but sure doesn’t act like it. He deserves his happy tail next! 💙

📍 Pick up your stamp card at ANY of the three locations
🛒 Visit ALL THREE stores during the challenge
👚 Your outfit must include at least ONE item purchased from EACH store
👜 Mix and match your thrifted finds into one look
✔️ Get your card stamped at each stop

📸 Then:
Wear your outfit, snap a pic, and post it
🏷️ Tag all THREE stores in your post on Facebook and or Instagram to enter. That’s the fun part!

Drop Off completed stamped card at one of the three locations.

🎉 WHAT YOU WIN:

Each store will pick one winner to receive:

💵 A $5 gift card to EACH store

Our thrift shop is in need of a few Z-Racks!

If you have any gently used Z-Racks collecting dust in a garage, storage unit, or back room, we’d be so grateful to give them a new purpose. They help us sort, organize, and display the amazing donations that support the animals at the Wi******er Area SPCA.

Every donated rack helps us make the most of the treasures our community shares and ultimately helps the pets who depend on us. 🐾

We’ve gotten in SO much hand painted art lately from a bunch of different artists, and honestly, we just wanted to show them off because they deserve to be seen! 🎨 We love unique, local and smaller art pieces, and we hope these paintings can find new homes where they’ll be loved all over again.

While many in our community are concerned about water conservation right now, we also wanted to highlight another important impact on water globally: fast fashion and overconsumption. 💧👕

The clothing industry is one of the world’s largest consumers of water and millions of pounds of clothing end up in landfills every year. Choosing to thrift, reuse, donate and shop secondhand truly makes a difference for our planet. ♻️🌎

Sustainability isn’t about perfection- it’s about making more mindful choices when we can. 💙 And when you thrift with us, you’re also saving homeless animals so they can enjoy this Earth too with their new families. 🐾
