Westlake High School Senior Career Day with Apollo Veterinary

We had a great time hosting local high school seniors for a hands-on career day at Apollo!

The students got a behind the scenes look at what it’s like to work in the veterinary field-and they were able to experience it firsthand.

Here’s what they saw:
•Canine neuter
•Interesting X-rays
•Live ultrasound

We got to spend our Saturday morning at for a pet first aid lecture tailored for pets living in downtown Austin!

Dr. Landwehr and Chrissy really had some good questions coming their way! We tackled everything from walking the trail at Town Lake to keeping your pet away from trash/food on the streets!
