🐾❤️ HOPE’S HAPPY ENDING — ANOTHER BEAUTIFUL ADOPTION! ❤️🐾

Today was a very special day at Wilton Animal Rescue. Our sweet girl Hope has found her forever home in Rancho Murieta! 🏡❤️

When Hope first came into our care, she had been abandoned and was suffering from mange. This poor little girl had lost nearly all her hair and desperately needed someone to give her a chance.

But we never gave up on Hope! ❤️

With medical treatment, patience, love, and time, this sweet girl made an incredible recovery. The little hairless pup we once knew has blossomed into a beautiful, healthy dog who is finally getting the life she deserves.

Today, Hope’s sad beginning became a beautiful new chapter.

Watching her leave with her wonderful new family reminds us exactly why we do what we do.

To Hope’s amazing adopters, thank you for opening your hearts and home to this very special girl. We couldn’t have wished for a happier ending.

From abandoned and forgotten to loved and treasured. ❤️

🐴❤️ A WILD MORNING IN HERALD — HORSES ON THE LOOSE! ❤️🐴

What a morning in Herald!

Earlier today, someone drove through a fence near Borden Road and Alta Mesa Road, leaving several horses and a pony loose and in need of help. Thank you Neisa for reporting it in Facebook.

Thankfully, the horses were safely corralled at Kelly’s property while everyone worked together to get the situation under control.

We headed out to help Kelly and the horses’ owner. The damaged fence was temporarily repaired, and a horse trailer arrived to transport the horses and their little pony companion safely back home. 🐎❤️

This is what small-town communities are all about — neighbors helping neighbors, especially when animals are involved!

A huge thank-you to Kelly for providing a safe place for the horses, to their owner, and to everyone who stepped up to help.

Kelly is such an amazing asset for the town of Herald with her vast experience with handling animals and showing up each and every time!

🚗⚠️ A FRIENDLY SAFETY REMINDER TO ALL DRIVERS:

Please slow down and stay alert when traveling our rural roads! Many properties have livestock close to the roadway, and one moment of distraction or speeding can have devastating consequences.

A damaged fence isn’t just a property issue — it can put horses, livestock, motorists, and nearby families in serious danger.

Please obey speed limits, avoid distractions, and always watch for animals. If you accidentally damage a fence, stop safely and report it immediately so animals don’t escape onto the road.

❤️ A little extra caution behind the wheel can save lives — both human and animal.

What could have been a dangerous situation ended with the animals safely on their way home.

Just another reminder of why our small-town community is so special. When something happens, neighbors show up for one another! ❤️

UPDATE: Ellie Mae has been in her adoptive home for a few months and is living the dream!

🐾🧡 ELLIE MAE & HER BROTHER — CUTENESS OVERLOAD! 🧡🐾

Could these two possibly be any more adorable?

Meet sweet Ellie Mae and her brother, formerly known as Gizmo! ❤️

All dressed up in their little Halloween outfits, these two are enjoying the good life, snuggled up on a cozy couch with their bright orange blanket.

Ellie Mae looks absolutely precious with her fluffy white fur, beautiful dark eyes, and that adorable little tongue peeking out! Meanwhile, her handsome brother seems perfectly content relaxing on the soft blanket, looking like he owns the whole couch!

And judging by these pictures, I think it’s safe to say these two have everyone wrapped around their little paws! 🐾

These are the moments that make rescue so rewarding. Seeing dogs happy, comfortable, spoiled, and surrounded by love is everything we could ever wish for.

🐾❤️ HAPPY ADOPTION DAY, TOAST! ❤️🐾

Sometimes a picture tells the sweetest story. 🥹❤️

Here is our sweet boy Toast, completely relaxed, with his little paw resting on his favorite green toy, while his brother sleeps peacefully behind him. Not a care in the world!

And today, Toast was ADOPTED! 🏡🐾

There’s something so special about seeing a rescue puppy feeling safe, loved, and comfortable enough to fall asleep without a worry. And now Toast gets to experience that wonderful feeling in his very own forever home.

We couldn’t be happier for this precious boy and his new family!

Happy tails, Toast! May your life be filled with soft beds, wonderful adventures, endless love, and plenty of green toys! 💚🐶

🐾❤️ THE VERY LAST OF MAMA SUE’S 15 PUPPIES IS WAITING FOR HER FOREVER HOME! ❤️🐾

15 puppies. One amazing mama. And now, just ONE little girl left to find her happily ever after! 🏡💕

Meet this beautiful black-and-tan sweetheart! Born on July 7, 2026, she is now 16 weeks old and was the tiniest puppy in Mama Sue’s incredible litter of 15!

She may have started life as the runt of the litter, but she has certainly grown into a beautiful young lady! ❤️

One by one, she has watched her brothers and sisters leave Wilton Animal Rescue with their wonderful new families. Now it’s finally her turn!

In these pictures, you can see her spending time with Mama Sue. What a special bond they share! 🥹❤️

We have watched this little girl grow from one of the tiniest puppies into the beautiful pup she is today. Our greatest wish is to see the very last of Mama Sue’s babies find a loving family of her own.
