Wilmore Night Markets are back this summer! Come visit on Thursday, June 19th from 6:00-8:00 pm in Downtown Wilmore.

I’ll have grab-and-go bouquets, you can build a custom bouquet, or pick out a bud vase arrangement 💐 Don’t forget, you can bring your bud vase back and get a refill too!

One of the stars of our spring lineup just made its grand entrance — mock orange (philadelphus spp.)! And of course, it’s absolutely bursting with blooms AFTER Mother’s Day 🤣

Named for its sweet, citrusy fragrance (yes, it really does smell like orange blossoms!), mock orange brings elegance, scent, and texture to any arrangement or bouquet. These creamy white blooms offer that sought-after “just-picked” garden feel with their loose, romantic shape and delicate clusters.

Why do I love mock orange for design work?
• Architecture: it’s strong but graceful stems make it ideal for larger arrangements or foam-free mechanics
• Timeless Style: it works beautifully in both modern and vintage designs, adding movement and softness
• Seasonal Rarity: blooming only briefly in late spring, mock orange feels like a fleeting treasure
• Impeccable Sniffs: and of course, its amazing scent is to die for!

🍂 The Annual Scavenger Hunt is tomorrow! 🍂 It’ll be a fun day at the market 🔍🐝

Tomorrow we are hosting our annual scavenger hunt! Come participate while you shop the market tomorrow between 9am and 1 pm! Each person who completes the scavenger hunt will get a $1 voucher and get to choose from a variety of products prepared and provided by our vendors! We hope to see you tomorrow to help us celebrate fall!

The Nicholasville Farmers market is located in the health department parking lot at 201 E Walnut Street in Nicholasville!

Zinnias have arrived (📷: Zinderella Peach) with their ahhhhmazing vase life! It’s always so exciting to see a new crop coming into season and ready to harvest!

So many fan favorites are on the cusp of blooming:
• Dahlias
• Sunflowers aka sunnies 🌻😎
• Amaranth
• and sooooo much more!

Don’t forget: bud vases, jar arrangements, and mixed grab-n-go bouquets are all available at the Wednesday and Friday from 3-7pm! I hope to see you tomorrow!

It’s the little things that make life sweeter ☕️💐 What makes it even better? When you get to enjoy them together!

Today I’m at the festival with my flowers! We’ve got live music, coffee, food, and some amazing local vendors. Bring a chair and come hangout with me by the music in front of the Jessamine County Courthouse. (P.S. there is shade 😎). I’ll be here until 2:00pm!

Friday was also the grand opening for the Lexington Growers Market. A NEW farmer’s market located in front of Fayette Mall between the Sunshine Grow Shop and PNC Bank. The market is open Monday, Wednesday, and Friday from 3:00-7:00pm. I’ll be there with fresh blooms every Wednesday and Friday!

We have some exciting news to share! Fika Acres Farm is now an official Kentucky Proud member! 🌼 Kentucky Proud was birthed in 2002 and in 2008, became the official Kentucky ag marketing brand! Not only do they help promote our Kentucky grown foods and products, they offer amazing opportunities and grants to farmers.

As Kentucky Proud says so well on their website, "You can serve Kentucky Proud foods or purchase Kentucky Proud products with the confidence that they came from your friends and neighbors just down the road — not from thousands of miles away."
