Our students had a wonderful time at Rood and Riddle Equine Hospital during a class field trip and did Asbury proud, asking excellent questions and answering quite a few too. Our students were able to view multiple surgeries, including colic and orthopedic surgeries, and we really appreciate the time the staff and technicians gave to further educating our students!

Dorothy, our newest filly, is enjoying her first day of turnout. Our latest addition arrived last night, and due to her mother's positive status for neonatal isoerythrolysis, she is wearing a muzzle to prevent nursing until the colostrum is cleared. Currently, our students are bottle-feeding the foal and milking the mother at regular intervals. If you would like to support future breeding efforts at the Asbury Equine Center, you can do so by clicking the link https://www.asbury.edu/give/. Please include a note designating your gift to the equine breeding program. These foals will go on to support students' educational endeavors.
