Looking for a new Dog Groomer’s Assistant – Full Time
We are looking for a hard-working, reliable team member to join our family-owned grooming salon as a Groomer’s Assistant. This is a physically demanding, fast-paced position that requires someone who loves dogs and isn’t afraid of hard work.
The schedule is non-negotiable. From now through December 2025, the hours are Tuesday through Saturday, 7:45am to 3:45pm. Beginning in January 2026, the hours will change to Tuesday through Friday, 7:30am to 5:30pm.
Daily duties include bathing and drying 15 or more dogs per day, assisting groomers with salon tasks, providing customer service, handling computer work, and maintaining a clean, safe, and welcoming environment.
Applicants must be able to lift 80 pounds on their own and stay on their feet all day in a busy setting. Punctuality and reliability are absolutely required. Prior pet care or grooming experience is a must. Personal transportation is required, and all applicants must be willing to complete a background check. We maintain a drug-free, smoke-free workplace.
Starting pay is $17 per hour plus 10% of groomers’ tips. Raises are available quickly based on performance, and hard work is always recognized and rewarded.
