I’ve had so many of you asking how the girls are doing and realize we’ve been so busy we haven’t posted any recent pics of our beautiful girls. They are loving school and living their best lives playing soccer,swim, dance, gymnastics and so much more. 💕💕

HO HO HO! 🐾🎅 We have decided to open a few extra days around the holidays to try to accommodate all our holiday pups. We will have appointments available Friday December 26 and Tuesday December 30 for anyone that still need a fresh pup for the holidays! Open to new and existing clients so spread the word!! Looking for a new Dog Groomer’s Assistant – Full Time

We are looking for a hard-working, reliable team member to join our family-owned grooming salon as a Groomer’s Assistant. This is a physically demanding, fast-paced position that requires someone who loves dogs and isn’t afraid of hard work.

The schedule is non-negotiable. From now through December 2025, the hours are Tuesday through Saturday, 7:45am to 3:45pm. Beginning in January 2026, the hours will change to Tuesday through Friday, 7:30am to 5:30pm.

Daily duties include bathing and drying 15 or more dogs per day, assisting groomers with salon tasks, providing customer service, handling computer work, and maintaining a clean, safe, and welcoming environment.

Applicants must be able to lift 80 pounds on their own and stay on their feet all day in a busy setting. Punctuality and reliability are absolutely required. Prior pet care or grooming experience is a must. Personal transportation is required, and all applicants must be willing to complete a background check. We maintain a drug-free, smoke-free workplace.

Starting pay is $17 per hour plus 10% of groomers’ tips. Raises are available quickly based on performance, and hard work is always recognized and rewarded.

Hey fur moms and dads!! I’m sure a lot of you are confused by the NEW phone number text message you have received so let me take a minute to explain what’s going on. It’s a bit of a read but if you want to know the details it’s worth reading. 🧐
1. The new phone number for Grooming by Jess is 🥳518-749-3506🥳
2. SAVE THIS NUMBER!! 🙏🏼
3. The reason it’s a (518) is bc my original number is a (518) and that’s what the company assigned me.
4. You will use this number for all grooming relating communication from now on.
5. If your dog is in my care or you have an EMERGENCY or you just want to chat (you will not get an immediate response if I’m on vacation for that😝) you may use my old number but only for those cases .
The REASON for this change
1. I need an easier way to schedule all 493 of you for your yearly appointments! Yes there’s that many! 🤩
2. I NEED to start separating my work and personal time.
3. I need yall to be able to access your schedules without having to ask me.

GrooMore is our new and definitely more efficient way to continue with our business. In the next few months they will be releasing an app to make it even easier for you to log in and check/change/schedule/update profiles and so much more. In the mean time once everyone has completed the super quick and easy profile I sent from the NEW phone number I will begin entering everyone’s current (2025)appointments into the program. Once that’s finished I’ll begin working on 2026! 🍾

PLEASE keep in mind this is all new to me too and I’m learning as I go.
