Retiring and rehoming a female into a carefully selected retirement home is not a sign that she is unwanted or unloved. In fact, it’s often the exact opposite. Every dog that comes into our program is loved deeply, but it would be completely unsustainable—and honestly unfair—to keep every Springer that has ever been part of our program for the rest of their lives. Responsible breeders make difficult decisions so that every dog can receive the individual attention, care, and quality of life they deserve.✨
💖💖When one of our girls retires, she isn’t being “gotten rid of.” She is being given the opportunity to become the center of someone’s world while opening space for us to continue responsibly preserving and improving the breed we love. Our retired dogs are placed only in homes that we carefully screen and trust.💖💖
‼️‼️‼️I also want to be very clear about something else: I welcome respectful conversation and understand that not everyone will agree with every decision I make. That’s okay. What is not okay is strangers coming onto my page to disrespect me, my family, my program, or my dogs.‼️‼️‼️ - you will quickly land on the blocked list 🤷🏼♀️
✨I treat people with kindness and respect, and I expect the same in return. I will not tolerate bullying, harassment, or personal attacks directed at me or anyone else on this page. This page should be a place where people can learn, ask questions, and enjoy my springers …not a place for hostility.✨
