🦷 Dental health is more than just fresh breath! 🐶🐱

Did you know built-up tartar and dental infections can cause pain, tooth loss, and even affect your pet’s heart, liver, and kidneys? Many pets hide discomfort, so dental disease often goes unnoticed until it becomes severe.

Annual dental cleanings help remove tartar and bacteria hiding below the gumline where brushing can’t reach. Keeping up with your pet’s dental care can help them live a happier, healthier, and more comfortable life. ❤️

Signs your pet may need a dental cleaning:
• Bad breath
• Yellow or brown tartar buildup
• Red or bleeding gums
• Trouble eating or chewing
• Pawing at the mouth

Prevention is key when it comes to your pet’s health! Schedule your dog or cat’s dental exam and keep those tails wagging and purrs going strong. 🦷✨

🌀 Hurricane season is almost here! 🐾
Now is the time to make sure your pets are prepared too.

✔️ Make sure your pets are microchipped
✔️ Keep vaccines up to date
✔️ Have current ID tags and photos ready
✔️ Pack medications, food, and records in case of evacuation

In emergencies, pets can easily become separated from their families. A microchip and updated vaccines can help get them home safely and make sheltering or boarding during evacuations much easier.

We can’t predict what hurricane season will bring, but we can be prepared. Stay safe and protect your furry family members before the storms arrive. 💙🐶🐱

🐾✨ Meet Roxie! ✨🐾

This sweet girl came in today for her very first vet visit and completely stole our hearts 💕🐶

Roxie had a full puppy check-up, including screening for intestinal parasites and received her first round of vaccines to help keep her happy and healthy 💉💖

She did amazing and got all the love (and probably a few extra cuddles 😉)

If you guessed tapeworm egg… you’re correct! 👏

Even though it may look round, it’s not a roundworm—shocker, right? This is exactly why f***l samples are so important. What we see under the microscope can tell a very different story than what we expect!

And here’s something to keep in mind: some intestinal parasites are zoonotic, meaning they can be passed to humans too. 😳

The good news? Prevention is simple. Keeping your fur babies on monthly parasite prevention helps protect them (and your family) from these not-so-fun guests.

Stay consistent, stay protected, and keep those tails wagging 🐾💙

🦠 GUESS THE PARASITE! 🐾

Take a look under the microscope… what do you think this is? 👀

This perfectly round structure with a thick outer wall is more than just a cool image — it’s a reminder of what can be hiding beneath the surface in our pets.

🔍 Drop your guess in the comments below!
(We’ll reveal the answer soon!)

💡 Hint: This is something we commonly find on routine f***l exams and can be prevented with proper care and regular testing.

Why this matters:
Parasites like this can affect your pet’s health — sometimes without obvious signs. That’s why routine screenings and monthly prevention are so important to keep your pets safe, healthy, and parasite-free.

🐶🐱 Stay tuned for the answer… and make sure your pet is protected year-round!
