Meet Colette: Your Regal Princess! 👑

Colette is a lovely senior gal who is on the lookout for her forever home where she can reign as the sole pet. This regal princess adores long walks, tasty treats, cozy naps, and, most importantly, snuggles!

While she may be a bit shy around new people at first, once you earn her trust, she blossoms into a loving companion who offers boundless affection and loyalty. Known for her fabulous hugs and sweet kisses, Colette is sure to melt your heart.

She walks beautifully on a leash and absolutely loves car rides, making her the perfect candidate to be your constant companion on all your adventures. Although she isn't fond of water (watch out for those puddles!), she enjoys chasing tennis balls and is always up for a classic game of tug-of-war.

With a lot of s***k left in her, Colette deserves to be spoiled in a foster or forever home where she can enjoy her golden years in comfort and love. Could you be the one to give this sweet girl the royal treatment she deserves?

Ponca City animal control has reached capacity and has already had to euthanize 1 dog today to make room for incoming pets. 💔😭 There have been many surrender requests and even still there are expected to be many more dogs that come in as strays as the fireworks displays continue to ramp up into the weekend. Meet Parker, affectionately named by the bootcamp crew who found him running in the park during their workout.

He’s been hanging out in foster for a couple weeks and is now ready to find his forever home!

Breed: Husky
Age: 1 year
Weight: 50 lbs
Dog friendly: YES
Cat friendly: Pending
Kid Friendly: Yes, likely best with older kids due his overly playful personality.

Parker was found running loose in a local park. He was not microchipped and sadly no one claimed him. After serving his strayhold, he officially became a Beauty.

Parker loves human attention. So much so, he often forgets his manners but we are working hard to correct his overly affectionate behaviors. He loves playing with other dogs too. He's learning to take their cues about appropriate behavior as well. He's a big, goofy puppy at heart and is eager to learn and please. He's incredibly handsome and has beautiful blue eyes.

Due to his playful husky personality, Parker would benefit most from an active family and another dog in the home to keep his mind and body occupied.

He's working on house training and does well in his kennel.

He's been neutered and is ready to find his forever home.

Amy Farrah Fowler is the middle of the road puppy. 🐾 She enjoys being cuddled but doesn't want to miss out on playtime with her mom or siblings so be ready to let her go or you'll suddenly have a puppy attempting to fly. 😂.

She is middle range on weight and size compared to the rest of the litter. She has the cutest short little legs. 🥰

Amy Farrah Fowler is approximately 6 1/2 weeks old and will be available for adoption after her second round of vaccinations.

😢🙏AUSSIE SISTERS SEEKING NEW FAMILIES🙏😢

Rosie and Pepper are 4yr old Aussies who were surrendered by owners due to moving. They are both are spayed and UTD on shots. They have lived together, but do not have to go together to be saved. Sadly “bonded” dogs are most often the ones that end up being euthanized because potential adopters are not able to take both and do not want to split up a bonded pair. We do not want to see their relationship cost their lives and are begging adopters to save them even if you can only take 1! 🙏😭

The shelter is FULL and expected to continue filling rapidly with the holiday weekend coming up. Adoptions will be critical in opening up kennel space and avoiding euthanasia. Please adopt or foster a pet in need if able! Saving ANY animal at this shelter buys more time for others in need!!

Beauties and Beasts is a state-licensed 501(c)(3) death row rescue located in Wichita, Kansas. We do not discriminate against breed, age, medical needs, or behavior. We love ALL animals and breeds the same.

Since our founding in October 2014, we have been able to save the lives of over 2000 death row animals, we have also been able to network out over 1100 animals to other rescues. We are a completely 100% volunteer run rescue, we also rely on 100% donations from our followers and supporters to carry out our mission to save animals in our community.

Our purpose is to rescue death row animals from the shelter and in our community and place them in foster homes where they can receive the care and training needed to become family pets. Our main mission is to change these animals’ worlds one rescue at a time. Another large part of our mission is to be a voice for animals in need throughout our community and we are proud to say we have been able to make an impact on the streets of our city as well.
