Meet Toast - a very friendly Russian tortoise! 🐢

Toast paid a visit to Dr. Beetch this week for watery eyes and just not feeling like himself. We’re happy to report that after some TLC and treatment, Dr. Beetch got him all fixed up and back to the life he loves most.

These days, Toast is back to enjoying long walks around the yard and snacking on his favorite treat - rose petals! šŸ’š

ā¤ļø The best local construction team! They made our building process stress free and brought our dream to life!

We can't praise our construction team enough (Josh, Jordan, Jon, Adrian, and the hoards of others!) and we can't recommend them enough!

This Saturday, Dr. Robinson and nurse assistant (and WSU Tech student) Carly were proud to volunteer at the Kansas Humane Society’s vaccine clinic, helping provide important preventive care for pets in our community. šŸ¾šŸ’™

As a locally owned clinic, giving back is an important part of who we are. Through our Outreach Team, we’re committed to supporting the people and pets of our community both inside and outside our clinic walls.

A big thank you to the Kansas Humane Society for organizing such a meaningful event — and to everyone who came out to help keep pets healthy and protected!

From the baseball field… to the Clubhouse… to our nursing team… and now one year away from ā€œDr.ā€ 🄹⚾🐾

Dakota first joined our team years ago and quickly became part of our "herd." He started in The Clubhouse, worked his way onto our nursing team, and yesterday celebrated a huge milestone at KSU CVM’s White Coat Ceremony!

Watching him grow into the future veterinarian he is becoming has been such a proud journey for all of us. One more year until we officially get to call him Dr. Dakota Harding! 🄹

Somewhere in the wilds of the veterinary clinic, we observe the elusive "Dr. Neisius" in her natural habitat… smiling maniacally for a photo, all too aware that behind the glass, three fully-grown staff members have reverted to their natural state: absolute nonsense.

Notice the synchronized facial expressions, a common bonding ritual among veterinary teams surviving on caffeine, teamwork, and sheer determination.

Experts believe this behavior strengthens morale and increases resistance to emotional damage caused by phrases such as, ā€œHe’s usually VERY good for the vet.ā€

A remarkable species, indeed.

I don't think we will ever stop appreciating our ability to help our hospitalized patients in our new facility. The ICU space created allows our teams to monitor & care for our patients without them being exposed to the noise and "busy" of the clinic. šŸ’™
