🌟 Meet Emma, our brave little Dachshund who’s been receiving cold wave laser therapy as part of her treatment for IVDD (Intervertebral Disc Disease). 🐾
This non-invasive, pain-free therapy uses light energy to reduce inflammation, relieve pain, and promote healing, especially helpful for pups like Emma dealing with back or spine issues.
She’s been such a champ during her treatments, and we’re so proud of the progress she’s making. Way to go, Emma! 💪🐶

This adorable pup Theodore was diagnosed with an umbilical hernia, a condition where a small opening in the abdominal wall near the belly button allows fat or tissue to bulge through. While often not an emergency, it’s important to have these checked and potentially repaired to prevent complications later in life.
🛠️ Theodore came in for a scheduled visit, where Dr. Ocampo repaired the hernia while he was under anesthesia for his neuter. One procedure, one recovery, and a big step toward a healthier future!
We’re so glad we can give this little guy the care he needs. 💙

Tito is a sweet Pit Bull who came to see us for skin issues caused by allergies, something we see often, especially in this breed.

🐶 Common signs of allergies in dogs include:
🔸 Itchy skin or excessive scratching
🔸 Red, irritated skin
🔸 Hair loss or thinning coat
🔸 Licking or chewing at paws
🔸 Frequent ear infections
🔸 Scooting or licking the rear
🔸 scabs

Allergies can be caused by environmental factors, food, or fleas, and they often require a combination of treatments to manage. Tito’s on the right track now and already feeling better!

If your pup is showing signs of allergies, we’re here to help get them relief. ❤️🐕

🩸 This precious Japanese Chin was such a superstar for their blood draw today! 🌟🐶
With lots of love (and maybe a few extra cuddles), our little patient sat like a pro and made the whole process a breeze. Regular bloodwork is an important part of keeping your pet healthy. It helps us catch things early and monitor what’s going on beneath the fur.
We’re so proud of this brave pup! 💉🐾

We had a special shelled visitor in for a beak trim! Just like our nails, a tortoise’s beak can grow too long and cause issues with eating and comfort. Regular trims help keep them healthy and happy!
This little guy was a champ during his visit and left looking sharp (but not too sharp 😉).
🐢 Did you know?Overgrown beaks can be caused by diet, environment, or lack of natural wear. If you have a tortoise at home, regular checkups can prevent problems before they start!

🚨 Tick Alert! 🚨While sweeping our hospital lobby today, we found an engorged American dog tick, a not-so-lovely reminder that ticks are always a threat, even indoors! 😱🕷️
This is why we strongly recommend year-round flea and tick prevention for your pets. Ticks can carry dangerous diseases like Ehrlichia, Anaplasma, and Lyme, and pets don’t have to venture far to be at risk.
🩺 Don't forget annual bloodwork is key to catching hidden illnesses early, including heartworm and tick-borne diseases.
✔️ Keep your pets protected
✔️ Stay on prevention year round
✔️ Schedule annual wellness checks
Your pet’s health is worth it! ❤️🐾
