The Kansas Department of Agriculture sent an email alerting us of a pet food recall of Savage Pet Savage Cat food chicken. This is due to Avian influenza contamination. Cats eating contaminated food are at risk of developing avian influenza. Here is a link to the pet food company. If you are feeding this food, please check you lot numbers and dispose of any with the recalled lots numbers.
