Dear Lakeside Paws Family,
I have made the decision that Lakeside Paws Pet Salon will no longer be operating from this location after 2026.
Over the past five years, this business has been more than just a job to me. It has been my passion, and I have been honored to care for so many wonderful dogs and build relationships with their families. Together, we've celebrated milestones, watched puppies grow into seniors, and created memories that I will always cherish.
Unfortunately, changes in my family dynamics, combined with ongoing challenges in recent years, have led me to this decision. While there have been many incredible moments, the difficulties have increasingly outweighed the rewards. I have always done my best to go above and beyond for my clients, often accommodating schedule changes, special requests, and unexpected situations whenever possible. While I understand that life happens and circumstances arise, it has become increasingly difficult when that same understanding and respect are not returned.
For clients who would like to continue grooming with me through the remainder of 2026, please reach out as soon as possible to secure your appointments before the books close. If you choose not to schedule, its been a really good ride and thank you for the time spent here.
And to the clients who actually see me as a human being I'll see you at your next appointment!

And I'll update everyone once I know more about a new location!

The air conditioner is officially back up and running at Lakeside Paws Pet Salon! 🐾
That means your pups can enjoy their spa day in cool, comfortable air while getting pampered from nose to tail. No more battling the summer heat, because let's be honest, dogs already wear a fur coat year-round. Nature really didn't think that one through.
Appointments are running in comfort again, and we're ready to welcome all our furry friends for a fresh groom and some cool relaxation! 🛁✂️🐶

🚨 Important Update from Lakeside Paws Pet Salon 🚨

At Lakeside Paws, our top priority is providing a safe, positive, and high-quality experience for every pet in our care. In order to continue offering the best service possible, we are implementing a few important policy updates.

✨ Effective Immediately:
• Appointment Cancellations/No-Shows – We kindly ask for at least 24 hours’ notice for any cancellations or rescheduling. Missed appointments or late cancellations may be subject to a fee.
• Appointment Conformations - You MUST confirm your scheduled appointment no later than 9PM the night before your scheduled appointment, failure to do so will result in the appointment being removed.
• Late Arrivals – Arriving late may result in needing to reschedule your appointment to keep our schedule running smoothly for all clients.
• Pick-Up Times – Prompt pick-up is required once your pet’s grooming is complete. Extended stays may result in an additional charge.
• Aggressive or Difficult Behavior – The safety of our staff and pets is extremely important. We reserve the right to refuse or stop services if a pet is showing signs of aggression or extreme stress.
• Vaccination Requirements – All pets must be up to date on required vaccinations for the safety of everyone.
• Pick-Up Policy – Please do NOT arrive until you receive a call or text that your dog is ready. Arriving early creates safety concerns and interruptions. If you arrive before your dog is finished, they may be sent home unfinished as-is.
• No Exact Pick-Up Times – I am unable to provide exact completion times. I can give an estimated timeframe, but grooming times vary depending on each pet and the day’s schedule.
• If Your Dog Is Here Longer Than Expected – Please rest assured your dog is safe and being cared for. Grooming can take time, especially as I pause to assist pick-ups, answer calls, and take short necessary breaks.
• Nail Trim Price Update – Nail trims will now be $20.
• Lobby Accidents – If your dog has an accident in the lobby, please let me know right away so I can clean it promptly. Accidents happen—I just need to be aware of them.
• Respect & Understanding – Lakeside Paws is a small business. While I do have an amazing assistant, Chantae, she is currently a groomer in training, and I am the one completing all grooming services. I also have a life outside of the shop, and sometimes unexpected things happen. I truly appreciate your patience, understanding, and respect—just as I strive to give that same respect to each and every one of you.
• Also I am one groomer so spots a very limited
• We have a cat groomer that comes in once a month

And if you don't like or agree with anything said here, you should probably find another groomer 🤷🏻‍♀️
