🚨 Important Update from Lakeside Paws Pet Salon 🚨
At Lakeside Paws, our top priority is providing a safe, positive, and high-quality experience for every pet in our care. In order to continue offering the best service possible, we are implementing a few important policy updates.
✨ Effective Immediately:
• Appointment Cancellations/No-Shows – We kindly ask for at least 24 hours’ notice for any cancellations or rescheduling. Missed appointments or late cancellations may be subject to a fee.
• Appointment Conformations - You MUST confirm your scheduled appointment no later than 9PM the night before your scheduled appointment, failure to do so will result in the appointment being removed.
• Late Arrivals – Arriving late may result in needing to reschedule your appointment to keep our schedule running smoothly for all clients.
• Pick-Up Times – Prompt pick-up is required once your pet’s grooming is complete. Extended stays may result in an additional charge.
• Aggressive or Difficult Behavior – The safety of our staff and pets is extremely important. We reserve the right to refuse or stop services if a pet is showing signs of aggression or extreme stress.
• Vaccination Requirements – All pets must be up to date on required vaccinations for the safety of everyone.
• Pick-Up Policy – Please do NOT arrive until you receive a call or text that your dog is ready. Arriving early creates safety concerns and interruptions. If you arrive before your dog is finished, they may be sent home unfinished as-is.
• No Exact Pick-Up Times – I am unable to provide exact completion times. I can give an estimated timeframe, but grooming times vary depending on each pet and the day’s schedule.
• If Your Dog Is Here Longer Than Expected – Please rest assured your dog is safe and being cared for. Grooming can take time, especially as I pause to assist pick-ups, answer calls, and take short necessary breaks.
• Nail Trim Price Update – Nail trims will now be $20.
• Lobby Accidents – If your dog has an accident in the lobby, please let me know right away so I can clean it promptly. Accidents happen—I just need to be aware of them.
• Respect & Understanding – Lakeside Paws is a small business. While I do have an amazing assistant, Chantae, she is currently a groomer in training, and I am the one completing all grooming services. I also have a life outside of the shop, and sometimes unexpected things happen. I truly appreciate your patience, understanding, and respect—just as I strive to give that same respect to each and every one of you.

And if you don't like or agree with anything said here, you should probably find another groomer 🤷🏻♀️
