Just want to say Happy vet receptionist week to my receptionist team! They go above and beyond every day to make sure the clinic is up and running smoothly everyday. They stay organized they prep ahead of time and just make the process much for easier for the techs in the back. They are rock stars!
They received a few goodies and were surprised lol but they clearly loved the lip products they got. Haha. We appreciate all you do for POA spay! Stay rocking!

Dog should be healthy and show no fear or anxiety.
Females should be 8 weeks out from having their heat cycle.
Male dog should have both testicles present. Thank you.

Did you know that Maine C***s have a genetic predisposition to a specific heart condition called Hypertrophic Cardiomyopathy (HCM)?

As the "Gentle Giants" of the cat world, Maine C***s are beloved for their size and personality, but their hearts work extra hard! HCM causes the muscular walls of the heart to thicken, which can make it more difficult for the heart to pump blood efficiently.

Here are a few quick facts every Maine C**n owner should know:

It can be hidden: Cats are experts at masking illness. Often, there are no outward signs of heart disease until it is advanced.

Genetic Testing is key: Responsible breeders test for the specific gene mutation (MYBPC3) that increases the risk of HCM.

Screening saves lives: Regular veterinary check-ups and cardiac ultrasounds (echocardiograms) are the best way to catch changes early.
