Our own Dr. Anderson was recently featured on an episode of discussing all things embryo transfer. From the science behind ET to the impact it has on cattle operations, we’re always grateful for opportunities to share what we love and what we do every day at Cross Country Genetics.

If you know us, you know we can talk embryos and cattle all day long — so this was a fun one! Huge thank you to the DocTalk crew for having us on.

Another birthday in the office today means another employee spotlight - Sandy Zoeller! 🥳

Sandy is a familiar face and voice at CCG - if you've done work with us over the last 30 years there's a good chance you've talked to her on the phone, she's looked at your embryos under the scope, or she's coordinated a shipment for you. Sandy has been an integral part of the team for many years.

Known for wearing many hats, she plays a vital role in coordinating schedules and keeping the daily operations of our veterinarians and embryologists running smoothly.

A graduate of Kansas State University, Sandy has dedicated her entire professional career to CCG. Alongside her work, she and her husband operate a commercial cow-calf operation in Olsburg, Kansas, where they work alongside their three grown children — Brooklynn, Skyler, and Landry.

Outside of the office, Sandy enjoys gardening, growing flowers, spending time with her family, and getting lost in a good book.

Happy Birthday, Sandy!

It's someone's birthday today, so it seems like the right day to put him in the employee spotlight 🥳

Meet Dr. Joel Anderson 👋🏻

Dr. Anderson grew up in southern Ohio on his family’s grain and cattle farm—where his passion for the agriculture industry first began. He’s a 2013 graduate of The Ohio State University College of Veterinary Medicine and got his start in embryo transfer through multiple clinical rotations and internships during vet school.

After a year in general food animal practice, he made the move from Ohio to Kansas and joined the CCG team in 2014. He’s an active member of AETA (currently serving as Membership Committee Chair) and AABP. Dr. Anderson is passionate about understanding his clients' program and coming alongside them to achieve their operation's goals.

Even better, he gets to work alongside his wife, Natalie, here at CCG. When he’s not on the road or at the clinic, you’ll find him shooting competition archery, cheering on Ohio State Buckeye sports, or fishing and playing catch with his three kiddos.

Happy Birthday, Dr. Anderson!
